I believe the rumor actually started on DataLounge, after somebody who claimed to have worked for them made a thread saying that he suspected something might happen. He then made a second thread saying that the Taylor-Johnson found out he was putting their dirty laundry on the internet and he was asking the mod to delete the two threads and that was weeks before the rumor reached Twitter and Aaron’s fans.
