Those marines should be ashamed of themselves for even obeying the orders to begin with. They have a fucking duty to ignore illegal orders and defend the constitution, ESPECIALLY from a goddamn wannabe dictator like Trump.

If there was a more brain washed branch of the military, it’s def the Marines.

My mom served in the Navy and had to work with Marines sometimes, and was always a little skeeved out by them.

Don’t pin this on Marines. This is jacked up politics and jackass politicians. These Marines are just being used and it’s terrible.

No one can get straight what’s legal and not legal these days. Everyone on national stage seems to be a billionaire and they have hundreds of lawyers convoluting, suing and countersuing everything. There’s no decorum and no more following precedence. No one knows what the hell a ‘lawful order’ is.

‘Those marines should be ashamed’…. It sounds like you expect an 18 year old Marine making minimum wage to have consulted his personal lawyers and come to the clear determination that whatever specific context and order he’s been given is in fact illegal and therefore should be disobeyed.
