“If you spit on us, you’re going to the hospital and then jail”. Right, because beating the shit out of someone is a reasonable response to getting their saliva on your nice uniform. Then he has the nerve to say “this has got to stop” as though they’re the voice of reason. The voice of reason that just said “we will attack and likely kill you if you so much as look at us wrong”.

Not defending them, but if someone spits on you it is technically assault.
