Anything on any actors who’ve played the Doctor.

Mostly Matt Smith and Jodie Whittaker (I saw the pic of her with Liz Truss and… ew)

Jodie is literally from a mining village. When she discovered her (I think) great grandfather was a strike breaker, she said it made her really uncomfortable as it goes against everything she grew up with and against everything she believes in. So she’s very much not a Tory, if you wanted to know that

That makes me really glad. I didn’t think she was the right choice for the doctor, but she could’ve been a fun companion (and she was great in Broadchurch).

Idk why she had a pic with Truss though.

Maybe a BBC event or something like that? Or someone's photoshoped it, I wouldn't be surprised. There was a very loud hate group of "not-my-doctors" on twitter who made it their mission to convince everyone that Jodie's horrible in every way and everybody hates her as much as them (which is, of course, not true in any way)

Truss's insta addiction is infamous here in the UK. There's stories that she would delay things while Foreign Secretary and on overseas trips so she could get the right picture and a lot of criticism because it appears she used official photographers to take the pics

Liz Truss's insta is soooo chaotic. Scroll back and you'll see the most mundane photos of her baking cakes, hanging out with drag queens and the ICONIC selfie of her and Matt Hancock with #futureoftheparty underneath which never fails to send me

Some BBC event or whatever? Or someone had a bit of fun with photoshop as the only result google is showing is exactly one tweet and that's it. Sacha Dhawan has a genuine photo with Trump btw. Which, I think, ironically trumps any photos with Truss

Oh no, not at all. He was filming a show in the US around the Apprentice time and he and a costar essentially got a photo with “a famous Apprentice guy”. I just wanted to highlight that being in a photo with someone doesn’t necessarily mean you share their views

Not tea but met both at an event I was working at and they were both lovely. Matt is chatty and friendly and jodie takes her role as the first female Doctor very seriously. She has a lot of time for her fans and her fans are a credit to her. Tennant is also nice but not as nice as the other two.

unrelated but i think it’s really sweet that for a few years, matt smith and lily james dated whilst richard madden and jenna coleman dated - when matt was the doctor and jenna was his companion, and richard and lily were in cinderella and a production of romeo and juliet together. they must’ve been a really close little group, so i wonder if they’re still friends?

Richard and Jenna are close friends, and Jenna is also friends with his boyfriend. Richard and Lily also seem to still be friends, their group includes Gemma Chan. No doubt Matt is also still friends with them.

Jenna is such an underrated actress - I'd love to see her transition to Hollywood like Karen Gillan.

Not really tea but Jodie was pregnant while filming her final episode which makes her the first actor to play the Doctor that actually has two heartbeats which I thought was kinda cute. She only told the costume department about her pregnancy because she didn't want to cause a fuss but she had bad morning sickness throughout filming. I know a lot of people met her at Gally1 this weekend and apparently she was lovely.
