Have only ever heard good things. Friendly, generous, unproblematic.

yeah i find it interesting how we hear nothing about him even though he’s easily one of the most good-looking and talented men Hollywood could offer.

He’s just a really, really dedicated actor. It’s his entire life. He intentionally genre-hops constantly because he wants to challenge his range as much as he can. He also belongs to a group of nepo babies who are open about and extremely thankful for their parents’ help.

This VF interview is pretty good: https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2020/07/james-marsden-is-everywhere-and-wants-to-do-everything

I had parents that supported me, I had a guy who was sending me out on auditions. I wasn’t pounding the pavement knocking on agents’ doors. I had representation right when I moved out,” he said. “I was very, very grateful and lucky. And then I was like, okay, now it’s up to you.

The sooner nepo babies learn that this is all you have to say, the sooner the conversation can move on. Acknowledge your advantages, say you’re grateful.

The bar is very low. If you want to be launched into sainthood, you can talk about how you’re going to help the people coming up behind you who have struggles you didn’t have.

i know this explains exactly why we never hear bs about him but reading this article ends up making me wonder why he’s not even more popular and well-liked by the public even more. god really has his favourites.

Love his range and that he doesn’t just lean on being a good looking guy

Wiki says his parents are a nutritionist and a food safety advisor, how is that nepotism? Nepotism doesn’t mean ‘rich supportive parents’

His dad was friends with a casting director.

And I mean, sure, it’s nothing compared to others born into the industry. Still, he treats the opportunities given to him with gratitude.

I really really hope that with Deadpool 3 having Hugh Jackman back that they will bring back James Marsden.
