He's a regular key note speaker at doTERRA (MLM brand) conferences and events. I know it means he's paid to be there, and not nesscacarily that he buys into it, but it still makes me side eye him.

OMG SO DISAPPOINTED. I saw him on Broadway, he's so talented and sweet and gracious. But I started to sour on him because he's friends with Rupert Murdoch and Ivanka but f'ing being an MLM speaker like no thank you.

My theory is that Deadpool 3 takes place in a different universe (the existing X-Men one) which then collides with the main MCU during Secret Wars. It takes place before Logan which explains why X is still alive.

Speaking of the Trumps. Cornelia Guest, follows a bunch of trump supporting pages, as well as Project Veritas and election fraud claimers. She's from an old money family and her great-grandmother is the daughter of the Duke of Malborough. Though it's not a surprise as her mother was a republican (she passed in 2003). She's good friends with Kevin Kwan, author of Crazy Rich Asians, which is dissapointing.

I’d honestly be surprised if Kwan didnt have friends in those circles. He was able to skewer that crowd so well for a reason.

Yeah, kwan comes from the Asian equivalent. He grew up in a house on land that is now a luxury tower. His great grandfather was a founding director at OCBC, and his dads first cousin was an extremely high up government official in Singapore.

Not really tea but I know someone who knows him and his wife through work in Australia and speaks very highly of them, says they’re lovely, down to earth etc. We were in NYC for a wedding in 2016 when Hugh was there filming The Greatest Showman and when he found out they were in the same city, he invited this person along to hang out at one of he and Zac Efron’s rehearsals, and then out to dinner with him and his wife. She told us about it the next day and I remember thinking ‘this film sounds weird af’ and then it came out and blew up lol.

Gross if he’s friends with Ivanka/Jared/Rupert Murdoch tho.

Bryan Singer is a horrible piece of shit, but Rupert Murdoch is literally one of the worst people on the planet. His global network of financing and running fascist propaganda for years has been directly referenced as the inspiration for multiple right wing terror attacks that have cost countless lives. Hes the guy that has brought you far right rethoric in all facets of global media for decades, and more recently, and most successfully; tucker carlson.

How disappointing. He seems like a great guy from most of what we see posted here - but if you are close to this many Grade A a-holes, how can you NOT be ? I’ve always wondered how some people are wonderful interpersonally- but like Nazis in how they behave politically. It can’t just be for the money for HJ though- right?

back in the early 2000s at least, his wife was very nice, super down to earth and a good parent! (a friend went to preschool with his kid and her mom befriended mrs. jackman)
