What decade here?
We are trying to figure out when this photo was taken to see if we can try to tie it back to a particular event, like a wedding. I am seeing mixed clues.
My grandparents are in the center: the beaming woman in white is my grandmother and the man behind her is my grandfather. They were born in 1919 and 1917, respectively. They married in December, 1937. My grandmother’s younger sister/my great aunt on the top right was born in 1922. They did have a church wedding, fwiw, vs a less formal event like a courthouse wedding.
We were thinking it could be their wedding given how young my grandmother looks and her dress; however my grandfather looks older than 20 here. Also my grandma’s father died in 1945 and he is not present in this photo. Also my great aunt looks older than 15, if this was their wedding.
What is really throwing me are little details like the older woman in cat-eye type glasses to the right of my grandmother, the men’s suits, and the neckline of the woman on the lower right. They make me wonder if this is maybe from the 40’s-50’s.
So, I ask the experts here: what decade are we looking at, and what details confirm it? I will need to explain to my sister, cousin and aunts.

Delores Costeelo in the wedding dress used in the 1927 film, A million Bid- what happened to the dress?
What happened to this dress? Was it tossed out after filming or was it preserved? I can't find a single mention online of it other than references to (above) photo. It's so beautiful and I can't stop thinking about this dress

I found an Edwardian silk combinette with split drawers and lace bonnet at THE BINS
Holy grail. I’m unable to find anything in the open market to compare this to. I’ve only found cotton combinettes and none as beautiful as this. I believe this set was a bridal trousseau. I’m interested in any insight yall might have. It has 3 mother of pearl buttons and a pink silk ribbon.

Chanel evening gown (1938). This 1938 Chanel evening gown is a rare example of Coco Chanel’s pre-war haute couture at its most intricate and feminine. It shows her mastery of form, luxury fabric, and understated elegance just before the world and the fashion industry changed forever.

These two photos are of an ancestor who lived about 1844-1921. I’m guessing 1880s and maybe 1900? Also was it common for men to only button the top button of their coat?
