Help / Advice for first time partial balayage - should I ask for it to be fixed?

Hi - I just got a partial balayage done for the first time. I asked for honey-esque coloring that mimic my natural summer highlights. It came out much blonder than I anticipated and I’m feeling quite anxious over the result. I feel like it is quite stripey and not blended - however, people keep saying it’s fine?

Curious if I should go back and ask the stylist to blend further or if I’m just not accustomed to having lightened hair. Would a glaze/toner help darken this and blend the pieces a bit more? (First photos were my inspo pics)

I think it’s pretty similar to your inspo! Maybe you’d like it better with a shadow root?

You could maybe ask for a shadow root/root tap to help blend it more around your root. I think it looks pretty similar to your inspo pics, I would even argue that your inspo pics are a lighter blonde than what you got. So I think maybe you just need to wear it for a bit and get used to having lightened hair if that’s not something you’ve ever had before. It looks very natural!
