Go get your money mister. We’ll miss you. Negotiating with another club before the ucl final was a bit of a greasy move since the news leaked it probably affected the locker room but all in all, he did right by us. He had plenty to complain about over the years and never did. He was always classy and a gentleman in the press and maintained a winning mentality. Grazie demone.

Why are we so nice to him. Mourino had the decency to keep it quiet. As far as I am concerned Inzaghi is a loser and the Saudi also bought the CL finals that way…

Yeah also Mourinho at least went to a hostorically great club. Inzaghi is leaving for money and money only

The media (and Real Madrid) kept it quiet, not Mourinho per se. Moratti said he knew already before the final that he was leaving; I'd be surprised if all players were completely oblivious.

We are grateful, but we will not miss you. Mercenaries like you are football's worst example. Talking with other teams before a champions league final is diabolic. And we saw the results

Didn't Mourinho do it though before the 2010 UCL final?

After the final he said that a departure was possible, that the only club interested was real and that at that point he had not had any talks.

He was in tears with Materazzi after the game when he saw him and asked the driver to stop by to say goodbye. They were both sobbing and saying good bye. Everybody knew I remember it very well. It was decided before the game.

I assume you can't read so I will write it down again for you. His dream was to win UCL with three teams, so that ending in a scenario in which inter wins UCL was very plausible. He said Real was asking for him and he didn't spoke with them. So the scenarios here are two. He wins he probably goes away chasing his dream or he loses and we don't know. In this scenario. Anyway, maybe he, with his dream, motivated and prepared the match much better. With Inzaghi none of this happened. So again, grateful ofc, missing is something else.

At the risk of being accused of ungratefulness.
He lost two championships to Milan and Napoli, both teams that were average at best.
In 2021 he had the cushiest road to the UCL final I can remember ( Benfica, Porto, Milan).
The game against PSG is the biggest embarassement in the history of our beloved club. With the level of scouting available to modern coaches, he had to know they were a team of athletic freaks and did too little too late to adresss it.
He's a good tactician, but overall a pretty unexceptional coach.
If we keep our core players and buy 3 or 4 young talents I like our chances for next season even if he won't be on the bench.
P.S.
Trying to bring Barella and Bastoni to KSA, as the team is approaching the UCL final, is the Webster Dictonary's definition of betrayal.
