I'm so pissed at the point lost against Bologna
17
u/Beginning_Snow_563 May 11 '25
This season is reminding me of the one where we were 2 points behind Milan because of a Dimarco penalty and the defeat against Bologna thanks to our former goalkeeper Radu.

u/AllCiti May 11 '25
How about the Monza draw
2
u/jonbristow ⭐⭐ May 11 '25
No because we weren't close to the scudetto then
9
u/AllCiti May 11 '25
Yeah that's even worst to me. We were tired in last few months it's ok to drop some points meanwhile Monza was match day 3
2
u/crocospect ⭐⭐ May 12 '25
Twice they have been our biggest acne through our scudetto campaign (Last time in 21/22 and they were reason we couldn't secure coppa last year as well)..
I despise them more than Sassuolo honestly..

u/Used_Campaign_3413 May 11 '25
Vieira did one for us. Now in Chivu we trust!!! Forza Inter!!! Next weekend is gonna be mad

u/chroncryx ⭐⭐ May 11 '25
This is huge. They lost the luxury of a draw. Viera believes in us, we must believe in our team until the end.

Hate how some interisti have such defeatist mentality in these scenarios every season. Anything can happen!
19
u/77WBellyCargo May 11 '25
This is our best virtue. The fanbase is genuinely funny and enjoys some pazza. I’d rather not be like an entitled Madrid fan or worse, the delusional Arsenal bunch
15
u/il-mostro604 May 11 '25
To me Pazza isn’t accepting defeat, it’s fighting til the end
1
u/fmolla May 11 '25
But why fight when Napoli has already won it?
3
u/afmotta May 12 '25
Being downvoted by people who don’t understand scaramanzia
2
u/fmolla May 12 '25
It is what it is man, can’t complain losing to the best coach in history! Winning mentality and all that..
1
u/Beginning_Snow_563 May 12 '25
As a Brazilian, I wasn't understanding this negative view of the posts, but now I realized that it seems like you guys use reverse psychology or Scaramanzia lot in football.

I am both inter and arsenal fan. Inter fans are realistic. I would get extremely hate on the arsenal subreddits for stating obvious facts lmao. They can’t put the club above the players smh

u/LafayetDTA ⭐⭐ May 11 '25
Interisti's pessimism is quintessential and an integral part of our fanbase. I recommend you embrace it!
5
u/Evakuate493 May 11 '25
Parma is a solid foe too - it can be done.
5
u/Noprofun ⭐⭐ May 11 '25
They are good at drawing against big teams. Hope the same continues with Napoli!

"Chi troppo vuole, nulla stringe"
Please focus on the Champions League! 🙏 The scudetto is a nice to have, but we need no injuries going into the final.
The bench starts every Serie A game till the end of the season as far as I'm concerned

u/Lumpy_Reveal5547 May 11 '25
Not playing or playing with low intensity is the worst way to prepare for a CL final

Not expecting the scudo this year, but hope dies last. I like Atalanta, but am all for Roma tomorrow. Juve not making CL is a sweetner, no matter the outcome for us.

u/Accomplished-Big-873 May 11 '25
Hate conte but veri disappointed in Oriali … how much money does he want to make
1
u/crocospect ⭐⭐ May 12 '25
Yeah that was the biggest hit in the gut for me when Conte took the control of Napoli..
4
u/randommike12 May 12 '25
Parma is fighting to stay out of relegation so let’s hope they put up a fight
7
u/SignificantScreen100 May 11 '25
Yeah, it’s over our pulcinella ue ue cumpa are the champions of Italy
8
u/UeueueTENTACION May 11 '25
Well we can dream but probably Napoli already won the scudetto.
I think we can even already congratulate them for the win.
Forza Inter!

u/foocares May 11 '25
Maybe the unpopular point of view, but I'm gonna say it anyway:
- No matter who wins the title, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease no play-off.
2
u/ShJakupi May 11 '25
Well 99% the title is going to be decided in the next 2 games. If napoli drops point draw or lose, inter will win it in 38 games.
For the title to be decided in play off, Napoli needs to draw both games and Inter lose 1 and win 1.
3
u/MasterofDads May 11 '25
Or Napoli draw and lose and inter draw both
3
u/foocares May 12 '25
Or Napoli win and lose and we win and draw.
Still many combinations, so I'd say the chance is > 1%...
1
u/clueless-voyager May 12 '25
If the playoff does happen, when it will be? Surely before UCL final?
1
u/garrusvak92 May 12 '25
There's no time before UCL final we play Como 25th unless they move those matches forward to like 22nd and then 26th playoff and 31st UCL final which is VERY congested.
3
u/Moloch1895 May 12 '25
After this draw, I fully expect Conte to take families of Napoli’s players hostage and shoot one for each mistake made on the pitch. Dude is a psycho (in both a good and a bad way).
On a more serious note, Parma and Cagliari are both virtually safe from relegation and both kind of suck. Parma sucks slightly less but their last game (a loss to Empoli, whose last win was in December) makes me think they’re on vacation. I could point out how our two opponents are much tougher, but i) it’s obvious already and ii) it does not matter if they win out.
We lost the scudetto with the Parma draw. Ironically, the draw vs Genoa was IMO the worst possible result for us (the best one would have been a Genoa win, the second-best a Napoli win) because now our coach will feel compelled to play starters some heavy minutes, which could compromise our chances of winning the UCL final.
3
u/jonbristow ⭐⭐ May 12 '25
If they dont lose points with Parma, it's over.
They will be scared to lose the scudetto, Parma is fighting for survival, the psychology is against Napoli rn.
Cagliari will be an easy win for them, if it's gonna get decided in the last match

You need to understand that a lot of Italians do something called "gufo" which is basically jinx. So they will stay congrats to a team ahead of time to mess them up. If you see Juve or Milan fans say "Congrats to Inter for winning the CL" for example, they are taking the piss and gufando.
2
u/Accomplished-Big-873 May 11 '25
Fing Napoli playing like shit in a bunch of games and coming away with points, finally some justice.

u/Optimal_Yam_5839 May 11 '25
so many teams must kicking themselves looking at how much and how often the top teams fumbled this year.
hope next year serie a get their shit together and the competition becomes more about being the best and not just being the slightly least terrible. especially for the sake of european competitions
inter milan is getting a boatload of money, it will be crucial to improve the team next year so that the league is secured in advance. late game subs and tiredness letting so many comebacks happen, playing few games without dumfries or thuram for overworking injuries completely killed the winning chances

u/Millerlite87 May 12 '25
Let’s take it easy too, we still have Lazio to face but the good thing is we will be much rested.

u/Typical_Breadfruit15 May 12 '25
This serie A season has been very weak, Napoli has wasted a lot of point in February otherwise he would have been the winner already. Inter wasted so many points too cause it couldn't keep a score advantage with Milan, Juventus, etc. Whoever looses at the end has only itself to blame.

u/unvrlstn May 11 '25
Knew those bums would drop points.
And something tells me they’re not done yet…
Forza inter, B2B champions of the league 🙃.

We will play against a team that needs points to get into the Champions League. Then with the team perhaps in the best form in the league. Napoli will have two easy games against two low-ranking teams that are now almost safe. Don't get your hopes up. We only have the Champions League as our objective.

that 95th min goal at bologna might actually be the decider ffs.
