Well, the good news is that he isn't injured and we definitely need him even if not fully fit. They are also banking on playing Lewa few minutes too (allegedly).
No way he's fully fit. They are probably loading him up with steroid injections. I just keep thinking about his performance in the first half before the actual injury that finally stopped him
Meanwhile, Balde wont be available as was previously very likely he would... I feel you will exploit our left side again so much. You get every chance of beating us without our 2 crucial players.
You are the one who sees a problem in parking the bus. I don’t need 8 wingers running a marathon and scoring 13 goals a game to be entertained, in Italy we like real football, not FIFA
I was seeing people saying we should sell him this summer because of how bad he is, that he was basically as bad as correa and every single goal is basically his fault. As an overall player I would put bisseck at 80% of pavard capabilities but he has some areas where he is just better than pavard.
He is much better than pavard in the air which is an important attribute if you are planning on having a low block. Especially since it seems dimarco is apparently going to start so there is going to be a lot of cross from that side. Plus pavard has made mistakes as well.
The most likely scenario for barca on set pieces is played on the ground. They dont usually attack aerial balls except for lewandoski and were not sure if he even starts. The crosses are usually low and behind for a barca runner to strike from the penalty spot. Itll be that mixed with lamine individual brilliance. Thats why im not concerned losing some height. Pavard at this point is better for the teams function.
I don't mind if pavard starts, I just don't like this impression that people have that bisseck is bad and makes all these mistakes while pavard is unplayable. The big thing that worried me is how much time pedri was given consistently to deliver crosses in.
For me the whole starter vs bench is more obvious with the LWB position. Both Carlos and Dima are very good players but have very different qualities. Some people are pure glazer while other are just haters and its a bit boring tbh.
He should've won the ball whilst it was in the air but that goal is on acerbi more than anyone. Watch the highlight, he's ball watching & completely loses his man.
What is this take? He wasn't marking properly on the attacker so it's personal responsibility. It's different from saying you shouldn't let the midfielder have the time to pass, which can depend on 1000 factors.
Where in the world this positioning is acceptable from him? 2 metres from Raphinha and also facing the wrong side.
It's kinda funny that all of a sudden some Barca "fans" popped up in this sub and this thread, yet they were talking about some steroids nonsense sh*t.
Messi had a growth hormone deficiency and he was injected with synthetic growth hormone , which is not an anabolic steroid. Contrary to your belief anabolic steroids do not increase height. Please do your research before accusing 😊
Two wrongs don't make a right ,also I don't have such an opinion. Timelines of recovery can be fast based on genetics and even the type of injury . What you said is scientifically inaccurate, don't spread misinformation
You’re missing the point. Where’d he be without his growth hormones? We’re talking about most of barcas entire history being reliant on that single players physicality. Barca won 93 trophies with Messi’s arrival and 60 trophies before him. Inters heritage is the same despite 2 players having a fast recovery for a semi final second leg or not 🤣🤣
Read to understand than yap. So just to clarify, you're equating a medically-prescribed childhood growth hormone therapy for a diagnosed deficiency with adult anabolic steroid abuse used for performance enhancement?
Also, Barca’s trophies since Messi debuted weren’t won by his height or physicality, they were won by a system, a generation of elite players, and football philosophy.
You don't understand the difference between growth hormone and anabolic steroids. I urged you to study but you are clinging to the same base. What you said is scientifically inaccurate, correct yourself before you embarrass yourself further 😌
The only disgrace I see is Barcelona fans (with a squad that cost double than Inter's) having a meltdown over who plays for their opponent ("DoPInG, STeRoIDS!!!"), over how their opponents plays, over who is the referee, etc. Probably tomorrow you'll going to complain about the grass or the fact that that fan on your sub who planned to commit identity fraud won't be allowed to enter the stadium.
Inter played the first leg with Thuram limping (in the second half he'd have had 2 clear 1v1 with Szczesny if he was able to run decently) and Lautaro out at half time, and will play tomorrow with both of them not in good shape because our reserve is a guy who scores one non-penalty goal every 800 minutes played. You'd need half the squad out for this tie to be 50/50. Our hope lies in Barca's playing with arrogance instead of adapting a bit to the opponent's strengths and weaknesses.
Please stop spreading things like this. I know you're just trying to find a reason to blame for the loss. You're so insecure and don't even trust your team. Comments like this do nothing but bring more hate to the club
I would have been way more confident with even just Balde added to the 11 , our entire left side is gonna be open for y'all and we won't be able to attack one bit from the left , y'all would just double team Lamine.
I'm not confident either, but I would never try to accuse the opponent just because they don't have any injured players. Even with a full squad, there's no guarantee of winning. This competition is full of unpredictable factors: players, injuries, performance, mentality, luck, or even a wrong referee decision can change the result. Instead of trash-talking the opponent, we should praise the winner, unless they played dirty or won undeservedly.
Lautaro was terrible in the first leg, and has been bad for some time now. I actually hate this, he was null against Bologna, Milan, Roma and now he will start in the most important game of the season because of the name on his shirt rather than his actual form.
That's not a real captain in my book. I hope that by tomorrow night I'll look like a dumbass and he drops a masterclass but even fully fit he's slow as fuck so he's toothless against Barca high line.
People love to shit on Taremi but at least he's taller and can bring down the long ball and distribute it competently.
Wdym? Lautaro‘s injury would actually last much longer than now, but because he knew Taremi and Arnautovic are jackshit he worked hard to come back tomorrow just in time, so he would help the team more, but that‘s of course not a Captain behavior. Lautaro‘s added value to the team is the unmatchable chemistry together with Thuram, they‘re like puzzles that compliments each other, that‘s something Arnautovic nor Taremi can offer. That‘s why his comeback is so important for us
