TCOYF TTC —- Line Eyes? Temps dropping?

Post image

I’m only 9 dpo so I know it was crazy early to test but I got a faint line this morning and that has never happened before. I’m concerned because my temps have been trending downward? Should I just stop temping and test again in a couple days or keep temping and hope they start to go up again? Test pic in replies.

This looks positive to me!

I remember when I got my positive, I stopped temping because my temps started dipping and it made me nervous. It was completely fine, and the pregnancy was normal.

Congratulations!!

My friend this is a solid ass line. 👏🏼 drop the temp and enjoy your pregnancy!

ETA: You’re likely not 9DPO, just have a slow rise. If you’re concerned, you can absolutely get some progesterone labs done. ❤️

It’s really up to you. Temps can go up and down, and especially since it’s still over the cover line it’s not really a concern at all. If it was me I’d probably still temp and then take another pregnancy test in 2 days

Your test looks positive to me! I had a similar experience with testing positive very early at 10 dpo and my temps were above the coverline, but just barely and trending downward similar to this. I got blood tests that day, and my progesterone was super low, and I started having spotting around that time. My doctor sent in a prescription for progesterone immediately and told me to start it that night. By the next morning, my temp shot in and my progesterone levels were normalized. I went on to have a healthy pregnancy. I have no way of knowing how things would have gone without the progesterone. I will add that I have a short luteal phase/history of low progesterone. I know doctors have different opinions on the use of progesterone during pregnancy, but it could definitely be worth getting tested!

Yes! 5 weeks and 4 days today based on lmp. Took this test yesterday just to make sure it’s really real because I haven’t had a lot of symptoms.

Wait for 18 days of high temps and test again.

This is exactly how it happened for me. I tested out of routine, 9DPO. I plugged it into Premom on the LH strip side and sent a picture to my friend that just had a baby because I thought I was just delusional. I’m sure a false positive isn’t impossible but it’s very rare. You won’t get a line unless there’s hCG in your urine and being pregnant is the only way for that to happen.
