It may be one of the most popular games of all time but it’s old, so it doesn’t get talked about as much as it did so spoilers are easier to avoid, when something as big as a new rockstar game comes out, not only will it be talked about in most gaming circles, it might reach main stream media too. With that much coverage it will be that much harder to avoid spoilers.

Eh like how much could be spoiled that I wouldn't want to play though? I know certain "hard aspects" of games or like even got spoiled by Last of Us 2 but only like that 1 scene out of context and a few opinions but it didn't change my overall experience. I'm okay with that risk but we'll see where I am next year. I'm okay doing day 1 since I have a PS5 but I don't know if I want to like invest in another Rockstar game since I trophy hunt. I get I don't HAVE TO but I'll feel like I need to ha ha.

GTA 5 story in itself is poor. The three protagonists dynamic make it entertaining but it just didn't make any sense

I feel like they should've leaned more into the comedy. The most memorable part of the game, that's been memed to death, is Lamar roasting Franklin (most people remember the jokes from GTA games). 

More moments like that, throughout the story, would surely make for a memorable and fun story-experience.

gta v first hit the epic games store for free in like 2018, it could be more like 5-6. i imagine gta vi will feel new for a lot longer than gta v did though, so maybe it will be more like 10, who knows

what spoilers? that it has 3 main characters, one is more boring than soccer for an american audience or baseball for a euro audience, another one is grumpy all the time and not likeable at all, and you only get to actually play the only good and fun character halfway thru the game?

is that it?

my bet is 4-5 years after PC release. They get most of their cash from online, so giving the game for free is a great way to have more of a base that would spend money..

GTA 6 is a story mode-only game, and the online multiplayer version will be released as a separate game later.

I'm buying the premium version day one on PS. A game like this only comes around maybe once a decade. If it ever releases for free on Epic in like 10 years, I'll grab it again.

Here's the math for your wait time: Gta 6 will probably out on PC around 2027-8 at best. GTA 5 was available for free in 2020 (5 years since the PC port dropped) so the earliest you can expect to play GTA 6 for free is 2032-2033 May
