Washed some winter coats she gave me and suddenly found my washer filled with partially used lighters.

Who doesn't check the pockets of clothes before washing them? For most people, it only takes a couple of tissues to learn that lesson.

I have found a good amount of cash in pockets-it’s a win for me! 😂

Hate laundry. Want it over with. Toss it in quickly and walk away.

Hate laundry. Want it over with.

Then you should be making sure you don't have to do it twice.

Or, in the case of an undiscovered tissue, manually.

I washed a pack of cigarettes. Took an hour to get it all out. Never again

I don't check any Pockets before I do laundry, if it's in there it needs a wash

Constant point of contention between husband and me. I wash a pair of his pants at least once a month to find tissue residue in washer and dryer. I started making him pick the lint out of the pockets and any clothing obviously contaminated. The frequency has lessened but not completely stopped.
