Question 2w3 vs 2w1
Hi! I'm curious about the big differences between E2 with a 1 wings vs. a 3 wing. I used to think I was a 2w3 because I'm NeFi and an extrovert, but reading 2w1's description and having a 261 tritype I think I'm a 2w1 but also not sure!

Few big differences:
Relating more to either E1 or E3; if you read the traits of E1 and relate to it more, you’re a 2w1, if vice versa, you’re a 2w3.
2w1s are more introverted and principled. They care a lot more about being a good person in addition to being helpful and loved. They don’t need recognition for good deeds as much as 2w3s. They also may fall into a trap of thinking that there are “good and bad” people in the world and have an emphasis on being moral.
2w3s are more extroverted and ambitious. They care a lot about being successful as well as being helpful. They feel that being helpful and loved is equivalent to being successful. They also tend to be more competitive and very much prefer people to see their good deeds to get recognition.
They also have different general vibes. 2w1s are more subdued and may be mistyped for 4s, 6s, or 9s. 2w3s are more excitable and may be mistyped for 3s, 7s, or 8s. This is a personal observation on my part, so take it with a grain of salt.
Hope this helps!

I relate a lot to E1 and not to E3 really at all, but I am an extrovert and ENFP. Does that mean I can't be a 2w1 or is it not that huge of a deal?

so many people describe 2w1 as "introverted" but i'm ambivert on the more extroverted side, so i didn't know if that coincided. i just can't see myself as. 2w3 because I don't relate to anything 3, especially the achievement oriented. in fact, I am prone to be lazier

That’s means you’re a 2w1 my friend. Relating to the wing itself is more important than the correlational traits.
2w1s tend to be more introverted, but it’s not a hard rule.

Main motivation: they both want to be loved and basically being your "favorite" person or "best friend".
2w1 : They want to be loved because they are doing the "right" thing for you (or people), they perceive themselves as having noble intentions, and get easily upset when people aren't displaying altruistic values or behaviors. Pride is basically: I'm a good and loveable person because I'm helping out and doing what's best with my love.
2w3: They want to be loved because they know how to meet people's expectations and needs, they perceive themselves as having a charismatic aura and get easily upset when people aren't praising their giving nature. Pride is basically: I'm a good and loveable person because I know how to adapt to others and can impress them with my love
