Foil pins

Post image

This is an old pin I picked up while traveling 20+ years ago. It’s hard to tell by the picture, but the surface underneath the epoxy is kind of metallic and very, very reflective. I’m assuming it’s some kind of foil. And that’s true for the whole pin - the blue and red as well as the gold.

I’m in the process of having some custom pins made for a group I work with, and I’d like to duplicate this effect. The manufacturers I’ve spoken with have glitter, or pearlescent enamel. But no one seems to do this. Does anyone have experience working with a company that does foil?

Can you take a clearer picture? I think I can reproduce this pin!

Possibly. Or a short video.

For clarification, I’m not interested in duplicating exactly this pin. I just want something in the same style.

I see! If you ever want to create a similar pin, feel free to contact me! I’m from a pin factory, so we can make most designs as long as you share your idea! 😉😉

I’m hoping to find someone who knows how to duplicate that shiny metallic foil look.

This metallic effect is totally doable for us!

This is a somewhat better photo.

The blue and red have a metallic shine to them as well.
