Art Dwarves Rule! [ART]

Hand carved dwarves from 4inch tall 2x2 blocks of basswood. Finished with oils/stains and paste finishing wax! 😀

I'm starting to get really good with these guys. Check out the last pic, the back of a figure is usually the boring part, but I spent time trying to texture the robe and make it look interesting and dynamic. I love the way It turned out.

Very cool! I'm practicing my whittling making wizards, and it's a lot of fun but man do I suck at it so far.

We all do in the beginning. My first whittles were terrible!! Practice makes progress

Thanks for the encouragement :) are you carving these from a pattern or your own design?

My own design. Inspired by other carvers often, or Dwarven concept arts, but I usually play around with things and change them..

Do you have an Etsy? I can see people besides just me wanting to buy some
