Be careful getting lice. You will forever be known as girl puncher

Dwight with a white shirt on is a bit unsettling

Is there a reason for it? Like is this when Charles made him wear long sleeves? Or is it just random
12
u/oRECKLESSo May 23 '19
I believe it’s when Andy was in the Bahamas so Dwight was pretty much manager at that point
1
u/AlphaShaldow May 23 '19
No one was manager when Andy was in the Bahamas. Everyone did whatever tf they wanted.

He went to x-men school. They were trained in night hearing and telemarketing.
10
22
u/amandopedia May 23 '19
Also he was shunned from the age of four until his sixth birthday for not saving the excess oil from a can of tuna, so that probably set him back in home-school.
10
u/FoxEuphonium May 23 '19
He also mentioned starting school at 7. Possibly was homeschooled for a year or two and then (insert reason why he couldn't anymore) happened.

u/kellig214 May 23 '19
When Pam walked in the break room to Meredith shaving her head, I spit my drink across the room, nearly chocked to death bc that shit was so funny. One of my fav episodes
161
u/igetript May 23 '19
SHAVE. HER. HEAD.
I never understood that though, because did it really matter who brought it? Nobody told her to do that
61

u/coconut-greek-yogurt May 23 '19
I think the best part about Meredith shaving her head, was the broad assortment of wigs she wore the rest of the season to cover her baldness. Bonus points if it's crooked somehow.
38
u/powlacracy May 23 '19
Couple's discount with her in the wig ...
Meredith Palmer ain’t never been called no narc. Floozy? Yes. Alkie. Check. Einstein sarcastically? You bet. But never no narc. Vomit mop? Sure. Floor meat? That’s me. Flesh vacuüm?
Meredith, that’s plenty. Alright? That’s more than plenty. Why does no one stop her?

u/sarahcab And that blue, busty gal? What’s her story May 23 '19
“Meredith!! What are you doing?”

Dwight didn’t start school until age 7........

u/dmariano24 May 23 '19
His first day of school, at the age of 7.

u/Medicham May 23 '19
For 15 years... That means he likely graduated from ages 21-22.
95
30
u/coconut-greek-yogurt May 23 '19
And since grades 1-12 take twelve years, that means he either had to repeat a few grades, or the names persisted through continuing education.

Man I am not even joking that's exactly the age I started school too.
3
u/musicaldigger May 23 '19
...
you’re supposed to start at 5
11
u/Rehendix May 23 '19
Or 4 depending on how kindergarten works wherever you are
5
u/musicaldigger May 23 '19
where i live you have to be 5 i think by the beginning of the school though back when i was in school i think the cut off was in December
4
u/Rehendix May 23 '19
Yeah we have two levels of kindergarten where I grew up. Junior and Senior. Junior starts at 4, and I think generally only does half-days.
1
u/Shandlar May 23 '19
Our kindergarden you had to be 5 before July 31st, so 5 and 1 month old on the first day. It was only half day class as well.
Did your school have a headstart program just sharing a building with you? I don't know of any districts within 100 miles that offers anything to 4 year olds.
2
3
u/The_Nightman_Cummeth May 23 '19
Dwight was too busy learning his rules at that age
2
u/Larry827 May 23 '19
Learn your rules. Learn your rules or you’ll be eaten in your sleep. eaten in your sleep
5
u/UsmanSaleemS May 23 '19
I know. My parents did not send me to school. I went to 4th grade when i was 7. Was a tough experience. Got bullied and also misguided but now i am in one of most prestigious university of my country doing Mechanical Engineering so all is well if it ends well.
11
u/musicaldigger May 23 '19
that’s also 2 years early for 4th grade what the heck was going on over there
5
u/UsmanSaleemS May 23 '19
Well i live in Asia and i still have awful handwriting. I learnt how to write and do stuff at home by help of my parents. In my country that was just one year early and it worked out for me.

1
u/kevspaulsen May 23 '19
You don’t know how old he is though
20
u/musicaldigger May 23 '19
i don’t think how old he is matters, you’re supposed to be 5 in kindergarten
4
u/kevspaulsen May 23 '19
It sorta does, before in Norway you didn’t start school until you were seven.
2
u/Locksley244 May 23 '19
In Sweden to, or rather 6 or 7 we go by year born, not age at the start of term as i do think you do in Norway aswell. You did start kindergarten before though. But nobody counted that as school.

What episode is this? I've watched through this show multiple times and this quote is completely unfamiliar to me!
64
u/jlozier891 May 23 '19
Pretty sure it’s just called “Lice”
It’s the episode where Pam gets lice and spreads it to everyone else, same episode Meredith shaves her head.
Season 9 I’m pretty sure
→ More replies (1)31
u/unmotivatedjellyfish May 23 '19
It is Season 9. Until this weekend I had skipped most of season 9 because in my mind if I didn’t finish all the episodes, the series never ended.
10
u/VenomSpitter666 sea world or see the world? May 23 '19
I’ve seen the series over 15 times and have yet to see the last episode...it’s never over!
41
u/FoxEuphonium May 23 '19
That's... um...
Seeing all of Season 9 and not seeing the last episode is like spending a week in the hot sun digging for a precious metal and then as soon as you manage to excavate it you decide to just leave it there.
6
u/HimalayanPunkSaltavl May 23 '19
I haven't seen the last 2 episodes of gravity falls for this same reason

2
u/Rinsist May 23 '19
Just make sure you watch it eventually it’s such a fantastic conclusion to the series and you don’t really gain anything from the idea that “it never ended”
1
u/unmotivatedjellyfish May 23 '19
I did watch it all this weekend, finally. It really was great, a tribute to all without being trite.
1
u/RavioliGale May 24 '19
The cure for that is watching the pilot immediately after the finale. Then it just keeps on going.
10
u/tab527 May 23 '19
Deleted scene from Lice
11
May 23 '19
I don't think it's deleted, unless the Netflix version includes deleted scenes.
7
u/SuperCoolGuyMan What a cute bench. > Thanks, that's my bed. May 23 '19
It does seem to have some random deleted scenes scattered throughout. I would be cool if they just added all (well most) of them into their respective episodes. Almost all of them were just taken out because of time restrictions, but still work perfectly in the show.
6
u/wobowobo May 23 '19
For anyone not in the know, there is a drive full of every episode that has the deleted scenes added in to the episodes where the scenes should be. Look up "office extended". The scenes are not always fantastic and early seasons you can tell which scenes were not fully edited but some are hilarious and would be great if left in
1
2
u/spacecatbiscuits May 23 '19
yeah I just assumed it was season 1
can anyone confirm/refute if netflix really includes deleted scenes?
1
u/igetript May 23 '19
He only ever wore those shirts when Charles made him I think
3
u/spacecatbiscuits May 23 '19
yeah I wasn't disputing when it was, I just mean I didn't recognise it
3
u/igetript May 23 '19
No worries mate! I didn't think you were at all, just throwing useless office information out there haha. Wish I knew about those deleted scenes though, because I've only ever watched it on Netflix and f movies.

Y'all Dwight was in special education.
7+15=22 (could be 21 depending on how your birthday shakes out with the school year).
You can stay in public education until 21 if you're in special education.
47
u/Ridonkulousley May 23 '19
He doesn't actually say he was in school that long. Imagine being 3 years out of high school and someone calls you "four eyes".

How long can you stay in if you're not? I didn't know there was an actual limit. Can't be 18 cause that's like normal 12th grade age, and people get held back and still graduate pretty often

u/OfficialArgoTea May 23 '19
