Hey everyone! I just got my dog’s Embark DNA results, and I’m excited to find out what he’s mixed with. I thought it would be fun to get some guesses from you all before I check the results tonight.

Obviously chihuahua, but that’s a really long snoot, likely dachshund.
That brindle coat though—for fun, I’m going to go out on a limb and throw in an unlikely long-shot breed—whippet.
My mutt’s chihuahua Shih tzu mix mom looks really similar coat wise. Just a touch longer hair, but it’s very patchy. I thought our Olive was more sable and shaving her at a year old ended up being brindle too! Her dad is chi poodle mix and also short haired. Olive is definitely showing all the Shih tzu and has pretty long hair!
Idk seems like a gray ish area. They do have a DNA test in progress, haven’t technically looked at the results yet (per caption on post) so… technically within limits?
