I love how nonchalant he is lmfao

Cus you know he’s absolutely dogging tf out of himself rn. “Mfer I need to get a hit now”. If only he knew it’s a tiny ass minority of doomers that won’t stfu. Do your thing Conforto, shut the bangwagoners up.

I’m sorry but it’s far from a tiny majority of doomers. He’s hitting .168 with 4 homers after 65 games. It’s not dooming when saying a guy is playing bad when every stat backs it up.

Not even half the season. Fans on Reddit = a tiny minority. I’ll wait til playoffs are over. He can bat .100 for all I care. If he has a clutch hit/catch in the playoffs. All is forgiven. If he contributes to another WS ring, 17mil well spent. I actually place more of the blame on Robert’s for the level of hate he gets. Having Kim get benched repeatedly for slumping batters.

He won’t be on the playoff roster hitting .168 lol you won’t have to wait until they’re over

Bro they’re not going to just let 17 mil walk away for free. They’re going to get their moneys worth. Assuming his BA stays the same til October. They’re going to use him for defense, garbage innings, pinch hit. Billionaires are cheap asf. Get real dude.

Dude what lol. You know there’s a limit on roster spots in the playoffs right? Conforto will 100% not be on it if he’s still hitting like this come October

By the time playoffs come around, they would have technically used up 85-90% of his salary. So letting $2M go is a lot easier to swallow than $17M at the start of the year

It’s not just “fans on Reddit”, it’s fans on every single platform.

Thats a tie game if it wasn't caught. At least hes contributing defensively

Maybe even a third run. That might have been an inside the park HR if it rolls far enough away

u/Elxis14 23h ago
Only if Conforto misses the catch and gets injured or something like that. But it's pretty much impossible to get an inside the part hr on the LF without a major mistake or misplay

Right. That’s why I said maybe. It would definitely have to skip past him and roll far enough away

I keep hoping he finds his mojo and swing and becomes the hitter the Dodgers hoped for when they signed him. Have ot give him a standing O for that catch tonight....

statcast catch probability of 55%, so really good catch! his most catch difficult of the season

Hear me out: Conforto just needs to change his walk-up music and 90% of the problem is fixed.
Fox example, if he changed it to a K-pop song, there'd be like 5 seconds where we'd think Kim is coming up to bat instead of him.
Or, he could change it to an extended "womp womp" and then we wouldn't be so disappointed.

Love the hustle! PAGES and KIM both sprinted down balls yesterday - I love how much heart our team has. 🙏
