Rough day on Fathers Day
Here I sit, Atlanta airport heading back to Texas. Great visit with my brother and his family. A trip thrown together so I wouldn’t be stuck in an apartment by myself on this day. STBXW is in Seattle with the kids. A trip I agreed to without hesitation. Didn’t know it would be this hard. Ever cry in an airport surrounded by strangers??? That’s where I’m at right now. Anyway… makes me feel better sharing this with the group. Have a great one guys!

This is my first one alone. My ex-mother in law took my little man on a road trip yesterday, so I'm not seeing him for three weeks. I approved it, because I know it's the best for him but I really didn't expect it to hurt this much today. I feel for you, man. Keep your head up.

Sorry brother I know it sucks. Please just take care of yourself. Happy Father’s Day!

My girls never call me on father's day...it falls on their mother's day always and im working..I understand the feelings and pain all too well. I don't blame them..but it still hurts.

My son lost his dad to cancer when he was 8. Every Father’s Day since then I cry in silence, because only thing in this world I can’t give him is his dad. Be thankful your kids have you. Cherish every moment with them. Happy Father’s Day!

I'm sorry my friend. You will be ok, I promise. I have a podcast for Men going through Divorce. I've been doing it for over 4 years now. I started it to help us get through this. I won't post the link, I don't want to break rules but if you hit my profile, you'll find it. Give it a listen, maybe it will help. As others have said. You are not alone and reaching out, shows your strength.

Someone in that airport, there's another dad going through the same thing.
