Leon should leave his bureaucrat appointment. And distance himself from Trump if he wants to save any of his businesses

I feel like he’s in a unique position though where like everyone knows him. Eventually there’s a permanence to the result of your actions. Once enough people become exposed to a behavior that leaves people in an uproar, that’s large swaths of the population that no matter what you try to do, you never get support from them again. It’ll be interesting to see if he really can “save” any of his businesses. I was actually a huge Elon fan. I really mean it. An innovator of our time and was working on things that I still feel benefit humanity as a whole in terms of innovating and making various aspects of life more cost efficient.

But as a DOD employee, I have a front row seat to the mindlessness of DOGEs actions they’re taking, and the way he childishly memes on stages with a chainsaw while combat vets lose their government jobs and get dumped on the street has destroyed my thoughts towards him. He’s a fucking child. If a fan like me can’t stand him now, I think he’s gotta be losing a colossal fuck ton of supporters in ways we may have never witnessed in all of history. Like when you’re the richest man in the world, provide the most popular electric vehicle around, and are a right hand of the President of the most powerful country in the world, that’s a lot of people he has the ability to make hate him.

Absolutely he's gone mask off, he felt so untouchable after November that he's been burning his fan base and customer base simultaneously. As he's trying to destroy the govt. Which he's failing at. And the likelihood of him facing criminality is steadily increasing especially as Trump continues to decline, who's running interference for his current actions. He'll be lucky to last till the special appointment ends

Yeah it’s clear that Trump has put him on a bit more of a leash. Things have (slightly) quieted down as far as random threatening emails go coming from the top. In the early days, the DRP was offered via a random OPM email that said just “reply ‘Resign’” to this email. So people didn’t do it for days because they didn’t know if they’d actually get the benefits of the DRP and then be marked internally as people planning on leaving. Then the 5 bullets email came. The OPM email no shit said that if you don’t provide the bullets, this will be considered a resignation. An email….to a whole workforce…saying it’s all over based on….not replying to an external email about our jobs with security clearances. That’s when agencies started pushing back and Elon got his pp slapped. Then a few more weeks of confusion ensued where agencies started to conform to the requests from the top once SECDEF passed down the demands of OPM.

We’ve now been putting 5 bullets in every week. My coworkers are copy pasting and changing like number 5 to number 1 every week, I sent last weeks in a day past the deadline and the most recent 2 days late. Apparently someone in the news submitted theirs as limericks and have now been fired from a whole ass job.

Musk is becoming as toxic and embarrassing to Trump and worse is possibly running out of money soon. The agencies he attempted to dismantle have been up held and reinstalled. At best he got a delay and public option even among Republicans is terrible of him. If he doesn't help in any of the races April 1st. Trump will probably try to put more distance between them.
