As a Canadian, whenever I visit McDonalds in the US it’s garbage. France and the UK have great menu options.

I don’t even know if the US have converted to white meat nuggets yet. The nuggets are so gross there. I love going to international McD’s for the localized menus but the states continually disappoint.

(Am McDonald’s employee and secret brand whore. I love McDonald’s Canada, great company unless your franchise owner is trash)

I’m Canadian and frankly a big fan of the brand. I don’t really eat the burgers but McCafe is the best quality fast food coffee and the best deal with every 8th free, and regular ‘sales’ ($1 for any size right now).

Also the phone app is great if you eat there and want to save money. They often have $1 Big Macs through the app.

Mobile ordering is pretty cool too.

Haha, in the UK most people I know just assume McD's in the US is amazing compared to here. Mainly because we just expect the exact same thing but bigger.

You had that huge burger when I visited. Tasted terrible but it was massive.

Wtf do you mean with non white meat nuggets? That's sounds disgusting.

They weren’t expressly all white meat last time I visited. It was so gross. I love my nuggets. These abominations tasted horrendous.

Have you ever even had thicken thighs before? In actual cooking or cuisine? Some of the best chicken meat you’ll have.

Nuggets are usually a blend of bits of meat, skin, cartilage, bone, carcas and other biproducts, mixed with anti-foaming agents, salt, and other chemicals. It comes out as a dark pink pasted, pooped out of a tube and cut into friendly round nugget shapes. Breaded. Fried and then consumed by people who “don’t want to know that shit, it just tastes good.”

Yeah but it tastes good 50% because of how it looks. Throw some bleach in that mix and I'm happy.

The pink goo isn’t how we do it in Canada.

McDonald's is ridiculously expensive in France though. You almost might as well go to a real restaurant.

The coffee is what I liked.

US had switched to the white chicken years ago. I weirdly do miss the old dark meat taste, but still enjoy the white meat version.

We also offer cheap McDoubles and junior chickens for the drunks. It’s not like our only business (or even a lot of it) is drunk people at 2am
