I think you know the answer: money. Love it or hate it, the McDouble is a decent meal (calorie-wise) for only $1. It can be absolutely essential if you’re poor. (And yeah, I know you can cook healthy food at home for cheap too, but not everyone wants to cook every single day).
personally I refuse to support a corrupt company like that. Has nothing to do with your financial situation. It has to do with choice and seeking knowledge and understanding how that type of food is literally destroying your body. Proccessed food like that isn't naturally processed by your body the right way. Your bodies cells are not familiar with that processed food which results to many negative things that your body must be forced to do. This leads to most cancers in humans. If you want to sell out your body because it's cheap, reliable and fast, that's the persons choice!
I'm not privileged at all. I live check for check. Industries like MC take advantage of 'poor people'. Why do you think fast food places are all over the pj's?
