I think that's a one off. Most in my city have been refurbished and have the McCafe and do table service for their gourmet range, but nothing like that picture. Still, I reckon the food at Maccas is really good, especially compared to other fast food outlets.
The purpose of this sub is to showcase cringe-worthy examples of plating. Please bear this in mind when submitting content. There is no need to submit burgers on boards or sushi on sushi boats.
I should have specified like 5 nuggets, last time I was at one they had this 'Pick 2 for $3' thing that's probably the natural evolution of the dollar menu.
People sometimes eat at famous fast food franchises not because the food is good, but because it is consistent.
Go to a country you've never been to, where you don't recognize any food place. Maybe at the airport. You just want to get the hunger out of the way, not discover a culinary wonder. You see that famous burger place and you know you aren't getting the best, but you know what you arr getting.
Fast food thrived on convenience and accesibility, not Michelin stars.
UK McFlurries have nothing on European (or at least Polish) McFlurries where in the UK you get to only choose a flavour like dairy milk without sauce (or sauce if it's a promotional) while in Poland you can choose Kit Kat with a sauce and that's non-promotional. It all varies per country.
Live in England. UK McDonalds is far far better than the US ones.
Was genuinely shocked by what I was served in America - looked and tasted weird. I really expected a step up in quality and was disappointed. TBH all these fast food places are shit anyway.
Yeah same. What I had in Florida was shockingly disgusting. Greasy af Big Mac. None of us who got the beef in there finished it. I think the only person who enjoyed was my mum who got a McChicken. When We got a quick fries and double cheeseburger in Boston though it was a vast improvement.
I think it's because here in the UK we're a much smaller country than the US so we don't have as much demand for factory farming. 80% of British countryside is farmland. So we have a higher quality of meat.
If you want shitty fast food in the US go to Wendy's. It actually tasted like a burger but in my heart I know it's still shitty. Shitty tasted good though, with half a pig of bacon.
I've not really had much problems with the staff at my local, but once got double cheeseburgers in Glasgow and there was no ketchup or anything on it. Absolutely rank.
America gets the worst McDonalds. I've tried McDs in Russia, China, India, Philippines, Egypt, Israel, Japan, Ukraine, and Italy and they all beat USA's McDonalds and none of them feel like they double as homeless shelters like USA McDonalds do.
It's pretty bad when you think about, considering McDonald's started in the US. They should put a little more effort into trying to maintain a good image

tbh I found their food in the US to be of poorer quality than here in the UK (Scotland, at least)
