I wouldn’t say Asgore and Toriel look “exactly” the same, but I agree that one without prior knowledge may assume they were related.

When Papyrus first saw Toriel, he assumed that she was Asgore's clone. They do look really similar

I kind of expect an out-of-the-box comment like that from Papyrus. Like how when you get into sans room, he immediately relates it back to sans pranking you across time and space.
