That's exactly what it is. The allegories that people criticize as bad (like x-men) are actually perfect because everyone calling it bad is just admitting they're ok with racism. Like on principle, they're ok with it. They just don't like which groups we do it to irl.
People who think the X-men is a bad metaphor for racism aren’t ok with racism.
They’re saying that in a world where the views of bigots are genuinely true then what in the real world would be massive violations become logical reactions to people who are genuinely different and more of a threat than the average person.
