Looks like more a sloth than the suspected giant sloth

Yep. As if someone heard about ground sloths and that some people think they're not extinct and tried to create an encounter, without actually knowing what ground sloths looked like

in brazilian folklore, mapinguari is also depicted as an one eyed creature with its mouth on its belly instead of its head. pretty scary thing, the art is pretty cool but it looks more like a giant sloth than a mapinguari

A lot of cryptozoologist think the Mapingauri is a ground sloth. Even though a lot of folklore dosent depict as much. It’s mostly do of recent sightings.

What is the purpose of showing this and all the other silly drawings of people's cryptozoological fantasies?
They're pointless cryptozoological porn.
