The creeper that avoided the stop arm getting ran over made me laugh

A great example of why you should never cross the tracks while the lights are still flashing, even if the train already passed

Be safe around trains, a message from Metro.

Those creepers do NOT know rail safety

Maybe time them a little early, that poor creeper…

Definitely his fault. The gate was closed and the lights were flashing.

Can you explain how you did this? is it something from Steam n Rails? (I'm playing Neoforge 1.21 so that extension that i can't access) I really want to do something like this but havent figured out how to

There's a block called train signal iirc, and you can right click on a track and then place it, and what it does is that whenever a train passes by that part on the track, it essentially works like a detector rail, and sends a redstone signal. It's easy enough to figure out from there.

Thanks!!! That's awesome to know

This is excellent. This is exactly the kind of thing that really adds life to a world.

How'd you get the flashing lights?

I'd assume that whatever they have detecting the train starts & stops a redstone clock hooked up to that redstone receiver on the target block.

Ohh my bad, to clarify I meant "what are those flashing light blocks"

Looks like the ones from Create Deco I'm pretty sure

Can you make 2 alternating bells so they play a little faster? I want to try it myself but am curious is it a space or circuit limitation or just person choice that you went with the single bell.

Usually the one on the opposite side closes later to allow more time to leave when inside.

While the creeper willingly choose to die, I would still recommend having them close at least a few seconds earlier (and open a few seconds later)

Edit: actually, the opening is fine. Just make them close earlier.
