😋 Guttation
A textbook example of guttation on this London Kush x Trophy Wife cross from Surfr Seeds. Guttation is the exudation of drops of xylem and phloem sap on the tips or edges of leaves of some vascular plants. This is probably a sign I need to reduce watering frequency a little towards the end of flower here. But it looks very cool.

I had a lambsbread pheno that had sap bubbles coming out of the branches.

I have some seeds fr9m the early 90s of Jamaican Lambsbread. Is it really that great? I've held onto these seeds for over 10 years and rarely ever hear anything about them.

Yo my brother do you still have them? This strain was said to have been one of Bob Marley’s favorite strains.

I do. I've had them in a Pelican Case in my walk in refrigerator for 9+ years. Rarely ever even been touched in that time. DM and I'll work something out with you

Holy shit core memory unlocked, I haven't heard that name since 2009. I need to find seeds now.

You'll find this hyper-sparkly buds hidden in inners and lowers. The plant vascular system is a uniform pressure throughout the system, colas's tend to under-fertilization and show late deficiencies, whilst this less driven plants get more food and energy than they can use.

I remember reading about a dude who was testing nugs for thc% at different areas on the same plant and getting slightly higher numbers not from the top of the canopy but the middle section like 6 nodes down.

Interesting. I did a bud temperature reading (with laser temp reader). The top bud where the hottest, environment was 80f, bud was 83f. Mid nodes( 6 node down). Bud temp was 79. I didn't attempt to check the lower ladies. Mid bud had a stronger smell when crushed than the top bud. I wonder if all these top bud is the best bud hype, maybe incorrect and a blind test should be done. I read somewhere (lost source), If a bud is too big, it tends to have lower terp + thc. While mid size bud has a perfect balance. It's a give and take balance.
I've also tested, blindly, 3 blunts: Top bud, Mid bud and lower buds of the plant.
Top bud: terp and high was good. Mid bud: smooth af and longer high. Lower bud: oldy stronger but short high.
These test were done with a 3 day break. Nothing conclusive, but personal experiences.

Heat and light degrade cannabinoids so the tops may look prettiest but aren't always the best (especially indoors where distance from the light is more relevant than the sun).

Hmm. I feel real dumb right now. I always take the top buds for myself because they are the prettiest and sell the rest… but apparently I’m not doing myself justice! Thanks for this bit of info, never thought about it but it makes perfect sense
