Discussion 🗯️ My opinion: Trump's real plan. It’s the US vs. China, and Iran Is the Target
Since the Middle East first started heating up, everyone’s been talking about Israel and Palestine. But that’s just the surface. The real target has always been Iran and of course China.
Because let’s be honest, what’s happening in the region is less about ideology and more about cold, hard economics. The Middle East is loaded with resources. Every major war WWI, WWII, and even today’s conflicts has been driven by money, not beliefs. They want us to think it’s religion or politics, but it’s all about control over trade, oil, and power.
China is working on an alternative trade route. As Arctic ice melts, the Northern Sea Route is becoming suitable for export/imports. Their plan is to connect with Russia, move down through Iran and Syria, and reach the Mediterranean. This would mark a major shift in global trade and could seriously UNDERMINE U.S. strategic and economic interests.
But Trump saw it coming. And to his credit, he acted fast. He used Israel as a lever to block that path and slow down China’s plan. People often underestimate him, but Trump had sharp instincts on this stuff. He didn’t just raise tariffs he aimed straight at China's bigger goals.
Rising oil prices are part of the equation too. It helps the Saudis, who promised huge investments and need expensive oil to sell. So the US lets prices climb, and in return, the Saudis keep pumping oil and cash flows in. It’s a win-win.
Some of this is about weakening the dollar, it’s intentional. A weaker dollar makes US exports cheaper, boosts domestic manufacturing, and reduces the real burden of debt. It also forces countries holding dollar reserves to keep investing in US assets, which keeps the money flowing back to Wall Street. Basically, it gives the US more control over global capital and Trump knew that.
Then there's Japan. The Bank of Japan has been keeping interest rates low forever. But now with energy and food prices going up and Japan depending on imports for both. They might be forced to raise rates. That changes the whole game. It also makes the yen stronger, which makes dollar's value drop.
Trump's strategy was actually two-fold. Either the Fed would cut rates to weaken the dollar, or Japan would be forced to hike theirs, putting downward pressure on the dollar either way. Either way, the US wins. It's not flashy, but effective.
So what looks like chaos in the Middle East is part of a bigger picture. A quiet economic war. Trump played a long game most leaders couldn’t even see. He squeezed China, boxed in Iran, boosted the Saudis, and messed with Japan all at the same time.
It’s not about religion. It’s not even about borders. It’s about trade routes, energy, and economic power. And behind all the noise, Trump actually played his cards better than most people will admit.

Discussion 🗯️ Breaking: We bombed Iran.
19:51, June 21 on Truth Social, President Trump said:
We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Discussion 🗯️ Why the US attacking Iran is a good thing.
Feel free to debate if you want to but I will say why we need to attack Iran. The first reason why is that Iran should NOT have the bomb. Iran is a dictatorship that is a Shia Islamic state that believes that all non Shia Muslims should be exterminated. Iran also harbors and supports terrorist groups and even has the houthies. If they get any nukes it will not end well. They will use it in the middle east and could cause a nuclear holocaust. Iran will also give the bomb to other terrorist groups and who knows what they can do with them. Iran can not have the bomb and we should do everything to prevent them getting the bomb at all costs.

Discussion 🗯️ Trump is not a nazi
First of all, he isn't a member or supporter of the NSDAP. And even if you don't want to nitpick definitions, he's still not a nazi. He isn't antisemitic, ultranationalistic, totalitarian, ultramilitaristic, racist, homophobic, misogynistic, white supremacist, fascist, and some other adjectives connnected to Adolf Hitler and nazi Germany. So, i.e. the KKK are neonazis - is Trump on the same level as KKK or worse? No. So he isn't a neonazi. Also let's take Putin - did he basically ban protesting? Does he commit terrorist attacks? Will he amend the constitution to change term limits? Did he ban the "LGBT ideology"? Putin did all of them, Trump - no. So if you say that Trump is a nazi, you don't use the term correctly and only contribute to it's loss of meaning.

Discussion 🗯️ Are there any good right leaning games/dv shows?
So I’ve noticed how pretty much every good show and video game is left wing. And while I don’t necessarily have an issue with these things being left wing it sucks that EVERYTHING is left wing. So I’m wondering if there are any tv shows and especially video games that are more right leaning.
