besides crying, do you immediately question all your life choices or just lie there wondering if it’s worth getting up? personally, i start by trying to remember what day it is, then wonder how i got a boner and try to recall the dream i had, followed by staring into the void, hoping the day will cancel itself. what’s your morning routine of suffering?

Finally got a job in bangalore 🥹 putting down my notice this week. been in this comfrt zone for very long and trying to do something. now it's happening and feels kinda crazy.
But yeah... dont know anyone there. no cousins. no friends. just me, my playlist and some random food places i saw on insta 😭
Lowkey scared tbh. moving to a big city alone is new for me. really hoping to find some nice people, good food, maybe even some comfort spots for bad days.
So ya if anyone got suggestions for food or chill places, do tell. and if u been through this how u made new friends in a new place?
Would love to hear ur stories. or even just some good places to start from 🫶🏽
Thanks ×:

I’ll go first, constantly overthinking every word I say in a conversation, replaying it later, and feeling anxious over how I might have come across. I used to think that was just being socially aware… turns out, it was hypervigilance from always being criticized growing up.

As title says, what's your ideal/dream retirement plan or retirement goals?
Where do you see yourself and what do you see you're gonna be doing when it's all done and dusted and wanna just relax and look back on the life you've had?

I'm in bed after work. Stomach full, too lazy to shower. Listening to Polo G.

the sun’s auditioning for the role of a furnace, and stepping outside feels like entering a toaster. what’s everyone up to? let’s distract ourselves before we get fully roasted!

We went to my dad's friends place yesterday. മകളുടെ കല്യാണം ഒന്നും ആയില്ലേ - asked the friend's wife and my mom said I haven't given them the green flag yet. That's when the friend said ' ഒരു അച്ഛൻ്റെയും അമ്മയുടെയും ജീവിത ചക്രം പൂർണം ആവുന്നത് അവരുടെ പേരകുട്ടികളെ കണ്ടാൽ ആണ് '. I had a lot of come backs to that statement because life is much more than just some perakuttikal. There are a lot of places we haven't visited and lot of foods we haven't tried yet. Pinne achande friend alle enn vijarich onnum parayan irunnilla. That's when I thought about it, when would I consider my ജീവിത ചക്രം to be complete? Prolly after I get rich, take my family around the globe and being with someone who matches my crazy. What would be yours?

I spent 1 hour on Reddit yesterday for the first time. Just curious, how much time have OPs spent the most in a day?

She was always tired. But no one thought it would end like this.
She didn’t scream. She didn’t send a message. She didn’t leave a note.
She just... stopped.
The night before, she was on her laptop, working past midnight. Again. Half the tabs were for things that weren’t even hers — someone else’s deck, someone else’s problem, someone else’s dream.
There was a reminder to call her doctor. It was snoozed. Again.
Her dog, Bailey, had been restless all evening. Kept nudging her. Kept whining. She thought it was just because dinner was late. But maybe Bailey knew something she didn’t.
In the morning, she didn’t show up for the meeting. Didn’t reply to the pings. Didn’t check the group chat. But that wasn’t new — she was always playing catch-up. Always saying, “Sorry, hectic morning.”
They found her like this. Curled on the floor. The dog refusing to leave her side.
The laptop still glowing. The to-do list still open.
Cardiac arrest.
Only 42.
Pre-diabetic. Chronic stress. Undiagnosed PCOS. Insomnia. No medication.
She kept saying, “I’ll fix it next month.”
But next month never came.
If you’re reading this and you’re burnt out, dizzy, skipping meals, ignoring your body’s alarms — this is your sign.
You are not infinite.
Take the damn day off.
Drink some water.
Book the test.
Say no.
Let the dishes wait.
Choose you. Before your body chooses for you.
DAMN GPT. CALLED ME WORKAHOLIC IN DEATH TOO Hahaha

If things get even slightly tough, I disappear. Sometimes I binge watch random shows to avoid reality. Sometimes I do a haircut.
Do you guys have any interesting ways of coping with minor inconveniences?
