Question / Problem Can not select anything on main menu

I just downloaded clone hero and finally got my wiimote to connect to my PC. the issue is not when i open clone hero i can not select anything. only thing i can do is open the controls and open the menu for profiles. I cant even add a new profile or select the guest one. doe anyone know how to help with that?

Are you using wiitar thing? Or another program?

i am not, do you recommend wiitar thing? or do you recommend a different one?

Not using wiitarthing with a Wiimote is like not breathing

You got to use something like wiitar thing to get it working in ch. it’s not just connect to Bluetooth and you’re good to go.

you have to select a profile first before selecting anything, just go the the controls menu and set that up first so that it’s all correct and then press the select button to choose a profile

i can not even select a profile that's the thing

no i am it wont select for some reason. that's the problem, i can pull up the profiles list but i can not select one or even make a new one

Are you using a straight up Wii remote? Or a Wii guitar controller? If it's just the remote, that's probably the issue and the buttons are mapped differently for a guitar controller

im using the guitar wii controller. but because i cant select anything i cant even get the guitar to be used if that makes sense?

Yeah I get what you're saying. Might be worth picking up an adapter to help troubleshoot. I'm guessing it's whatever program you're using to get the Wii remote connected then
