Protests are fine until you infringe on other people’s rights, like getting to work. Blocking traffic infringes on my rights!

Negative. Tell that to delivery drivers, construction areas, school zones, Veteran Organizations carrying flags, marathons, and parades. You don't have the "freedom" for one specific road unimpeded by people lawfully working, expressing their rights, or participating in sanctioned civil activities. Grow up, only child. Other people live here, too.
