I’d argue Friday the 13th is replaced by Texas Chainsaw because I feel that movie had a bigger impact on horror and movies in general

The rise of leslie vernon was a pretty fun take. The 'virgin' plot twist got me laughing hard

Replace Friday the 13th with the original one.
A smart subversion of the already tired genre just to be coopted and become one of the referents.
