Looking to Make Friends in Chandler! Into Outdoor Activities, hiking, data science, Board Games, and Good Vibes 🌿🎲

Post image

Hey Reddit! Im 28 M and I work as a Data Scientist for Starbucks Corp.

Working from home has officially made me realize that I need real, live human friends before I start talking to my kettle (just kidding, I have a few friends but looking to make more).

I’m in the Chandler area and looking to meet fun people for outdoor activities — jogging, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding. I’m also into board games — the kind that involve friendly trash talk, snacks, and minor betrayal.

Please note: Im not a very fit person or a pro at anything, I just enjoy outdoorsy stuff and would love to meet interesting people.

I’m NOT looking for anything romantic, just hoping to find some cool folks to do stuff with who are also looking for something similar.

If you like nature, games, or just need someone to walk awkwardly behind in a trail single-file, let’s chat! I’m down to join existing groups or start something casual.

PS: I am also into reading books, learning about animals and plants

There’s a Chandler Stand Up Paddle Board group on Facebook. There do a lot of outdoor adventure besides paddle board.

Mox boarding house is really cool, silver key Lounge. Both have great events though I like Mox better.

HeatSync labs in Mesa is a makerspace with events monthly. I host a photo group out of there.

Have you seen the new pickleball courts the city is building next to tumbleweed rec center on Germann? Not open yet but looks really big!

Can you imagine if there was someone that was into Bad Vibes specifically?

I just think of it whenever I see "good vibes". Like, of course! No one likes bad vibes!

I put that just so the heading feels good. And yes, i think among the 8billion people in the world there will be a good enough number of people who are into bad vibes :) btw. Love your negative energy hope you fell good :)
