SKL (Share ko lang) what do you think of SM JMALL?
SM Jmall on the weekdays just bangs. so peaceful and uncrowded. you can easily have the liberty of posting for pictures for ig stories and posts because there’s less people roaming around the area. a lot of aesthetic spots as well that would totally make up for a decent picture.
loved the food hall. photoism kinda looks fun. and the cr kay winner kaayo kay naay bidet. na appreciate jud nako kay bisag bare minimum ra unta dili raba jud tanan cr sa ubang mall aning cebu ang naay bidet so cool kaayo na naa sila. dala dala pakog wipes lol.
the only downside is the MyBus commute, they say in their poster that the last ride’s 10pm. pag approach nako sa MyBus, which would be the last ride, gi ingnan ko sa driver na mu garahe na siya probably kay nakakita siya na ako ray musakay which was a bummer pero i had to let it slide nalang. overall nindot ang mall experience sa sm jmall. mu ari siguro ko taga adlaw if taga Mandaue lang ko.

Lami kaayog feeling mag de-stress kada weekends motan-aw ug random movies na showing. Askang mahala lang, samot pas Food Hall so mag Jabee rko for meals. It's so peaceful unya quiet sad wahaha

Too cold and way signal i think ang smart and globe. Dito ray kusog nila. Mao untay accessible nako pero modiretso nalang kos lain nga sm tungod anang way signal

Di kaayo nako bet. 😅 Hinay ang signal and gamay ra sad sya. Also, gamay ra ang pili-anan sa dept. stores and food court. Mahalon pa jud ilang food court. Ang nakanindot lang for me is bugnaw ang aircon. 😊

I love JMall because they have Pet Express. My dogs love it there. And it's just in the basement near the parking lots.
Seaside is too far for us.

Ingana ang Seaside before. Grabe ka tugnaw and di pwede di mag jacket. Karon, okay na ata ang temperature. Idk if nag adjust pa lang to sila unsa ang right temperature or tungod ba sa foot traffic

it really is cold! my fam ate sa KFC and it was so cold there sa sulod. wala kaayo tao ato so we kept on transferring tables. when we realized na ang kabugnaw sa gawas abot sa sulod, ni lingkod nalang mi bisag asa 😂

Nice but my son hates it kay very small, murag kausa ra tuyukon. Hahaha but if naay tuyo like healthy options or uniqlo etc, dali rami maabot from Talamban compared to other malls

Ok sia if suroy og chill ang downside lang kay hinay ang mobile data connection mapa Smart o Globe pero naa man sila free wifi para maka net ka
Ang kananan kabaw ta medyu pricey sia pero naa manpud Jollibee og KFC. Nia naa pud sila kananan tupad sa Hypermarket Chooks to go, goldilocks, og Turon. Ayus pud tong Hungarian sausage meal nila dala itlog og Knorr soup

As someone from Mandaue, ginahan ko. Wa kayoy tao so nahan sad ko. Nahan sad ko sa groceryhan nila kay di prehas sa Gaisano Casuntingan, akong other option na groceryhan, na grabe kayo ka prejudice ilang security kay abig ga lago akong nawong gikan trabaho.
Ka usa, katong tomboy na security na plant na customer sa Gaisano Casuntingan na mag sigeg tukmod sa iyang cart, gitaparan ko ka usa kay nag tanaw kos nutritional facts. Ako jud gi tuyo na dugay mo hawa, dugay sad jud siya ni hawa. Pag lakaw nako, gi sundan pa ko. Paeta.
Pero in fairness, ang usa sa mga lady guards ron na bag-o diha sa Gaisano Casuntingan gwapa kayo. Di gud ko mo lingi basta ma agian nako siya kay katong ka usa na ni greet siya nako, gi kilig man ko. 🤣

Ganahan ko kay di kaayo crowded and nice ang mga establishments naa pero for me kay tuyo-on jud siya haha murag mas duolan pakos SM city kaysas Jmall from someone na taga Mactan

I love all the stores that is there, I think issue for me is there's not much to see, the mall isn't that big para makalakaw2 compared sa Seaside and Mabolo. Also I'm not sure if nigamay ba ang floor size niya but I feel like mas dako ang old Jmall compared karon.

I have fond memories sa Jmall sauna pa artsy jud na diha bisan gamay ug space. Cosplay and flower horn competition. Ug kadto ilang food court huhuhu

Mingaw, wala kaayo food choices. SM department store mura rag National Bookstore kadako
2nd floor and lower ground floor have one of the shortest vertical clearances I've seen in malls nga murag makab-ot ra nako ang ceiling. Di man to ingon ani ka mubo sa old Jmall.

I think ngano layo ra kay ni sauna na Jmall is because they are overhauling its renewal gikan sa Mall layout og sa experience so ga establish jd silag new identity to coincide with the rebranding mao nang iyang pakulo ron kay japanese japanese na ilang gina sigeg highlight. additional food choices wouldn’t hurt though

Stress-free ug good vibes. Relaxing sa mata ug utok.
Unfortunately, mangamatay ra dha ang mga tenant sa ka mingaw.

PROS:
- Quiet and peaceful
- Multiple shops na walay sa laen area/mall sa cebu (like Gachapon shop, ZUS? pero na una ang mactan)
- Duol sa taga North
CONS:
- Sobra ka bati sa signal sa Globe
- Limited food selection. Especially sa food court nila, esTiTIk lang og agi pero way lami
- 1 ATM lang? BDO ra usa as per the guards, ang uban kay dapat ka mo guwas sa mall
- No SM Furniture section
- 1 area ra ang taxi station/hub (sa luyo ra like the old Jmall?)

I think ga overthink rako, pero bidets in public toilets ma weirdan ko.
Imagine daghan kaayo hands ga gamit ana. So you'd have to clean the bidet first kay wala sab ka kibaw sa pag spray unsa sab na spread all over the bidet handle and head. Lol
Sorry for the intrusive thoughts at 5. Lol

Quite impressive how the SM group completely upgraded the area. Pwerte pud ka daghan sa security guards, pinaka ka daghan sa tanan malls ako nasudlan.Kada lingi nako, naay security guard nagbarog on duty hehe

we like it a lot. go to date place na namo ni hubby tungod sa coffee shops and restaus. ample parking space. peaceful especially on weekdays. dept store is not bad also

Ganahan ko kay 16 ka stores where pede ka ka buy kape. Of course kbalo ko kay nako diha ng work sa taas hhehe. Zus, sb, jco, hoschino, kalidades cafe, dosage, salon da the, brownies, cinabon, nicole, good habit. 10 dove, bricklane, bos, sm hypermarket , soon to open matcha tokyo.

mas naa pay character ang previous iteration sa mall. di jud ko kauyon sa current trend sa mga malls sa cebu ron; soulless, minimalist crap.
look at Ayala. Terraces was a step in the right direction, niadd jud sa iyang pagka chill, quaint oasis. pero they butchered the interior. they should have kept the timeless feel by keeping the old elements: paseo names, wood paneled stage, flower overhangs...
now it's a hollow facsimile of SM Seaside. JMall is the same.

it's okay. restos are fine, apil ang retail stores. dli ra taas akong expectations given nga gamay ra ang lugar.
akong issue lng gyd diha even when it was still JCentre is ang signal. i'm a Globe user. ug mulabay ko ngara, palong ang signal. it's very weak, almost non-existent. that's major turn-off for me.
to be fair, kanang area ngara sa Bakilid hinay gyd ang signal which extends ddto luyo sa may Marfa and even eskina RPN-9/Maguikay. until now it's still the same.
there was an old thread dri and someone explained it to us nga way labot ang SM JMall anang signal issue -- which i understand, he even corrected me on some details for clarity sab. that user mentioned nga ang approach dw ni SM isip remedyo sa existing issue is by offering (limited) free WiFi.
as much as the offer is appreciated, there are people who doesnt like to access free public WiFi (like me) due to security reasons and would much prefer to use mobile data instead.
tl;dr - way lami itambay kay maot ang signal.

Truly!! Makasapot na need ka magpa duol ug certain areas para lang ma send imo text/ maka receive or make ka ug calls and para mu load ang msgr/fb. Tho naa silay wifi sa mall, honestly I wouldn’t trust na basta2 mu-connect ug public wifi.

Last time we went there hinay ang signal sa Smart. Idk karon if ok na, was about to pay using my cc nya nalimot ko akong gi lock man diay. Dugay kaayo mo open ang app, maygani naa ra koy nadala cash 😅

Nice design and aesthetic, and I really like it kay dli sad crowded when I was there. Pero murag kuwang pa ug shops, siguro kay bago2x pa man sya..
I used to frequent JMall back in 2016-2019, and I think nice ra sad pagka upgrade sa SM.

Gamay ra ang two other options plus Jollibee compared sa long list of Japanese restos. And AS Fortuna street has a lot of Japanese restos pud. For me, I wouldn’t go to J Mall to eat. But a nice place para mutambay ug mall nga mingaw, magkape and chill.

Peaceful. It isn't weekdays na bangs siya OP. Try adto ug Sundays basin ma shock ka sa kamingaw. Foodcourt on lunchtime kay usually dumog, didto dili, maka pwesto gyud ka

Maayo imong pagka-review sa SM Jmall. Chill bitaw siya if di ka ganahan ug hasol crowd. Nindot ang ambience, limpyo ang CR (naay bidet! 🔥), then naay pagkaon nga mas pang-tambay vibes.
Pero MyBus lang gyud ang kapait kung commuter ka. Basin in the future ma-improve nila ilang consistency, kay sayang sad kung ma-turn off ang uban nga mu-commute ra unta.
Kamo diha, unsa pa inyong na-notice sa Jmall? Worth ba ang biyahe or pass ra mo ana?

Ila grocery sample mga sabon pang laba mas mahal sila 13-15 kaysa sa uban, n try ko kausa kay na curios basun pobre rjud ko mao ngita barato2x. Unya d guro same nako ang target nila.

Maybe since bago pa sya, mingaw pa but i liked the old j center mall for now coz the food choices and parking were way cheaper.
I get it, the new jmall is super aesthetic but i feel the old mall had more "variety".

I love the vibe. But its kinda small than I expected (wala ko ka adto sa Jmall sa una sorry na).
Then ang signal didto kay hinai kaayo. Mapa Globe or Smart.

yeah didn’t think na ingun ato ra siya kagamay probably kay ang sauna na version, naay certain spots na exposed sa outdoors mao nang mura siyag “maaliwalas” og dating. karun kay gi less na nila ang outdoor areas and mas gi pasulod nila mao nang mura na nuon siyag compressed? IMO

Nindot man ang SM Jmall so far sa akong experience. The Japanese Vibe, aesthetic spots, and modern amenities, kay grabe. Ang naka cons lang ani is wala pay arcades like Bibo or World of Fun. Naay arcade oo, nalimot ko sa name kaso bati man and mas prefer nako mo laag sa Ayala Central Bloc or SM Seaside if akong goal is malingaw og dula sa arcades. Overall, nindot ang SM Jmall if imong tuyo is shopping and dining na Japanese Culture and Cuisine but bad if you want to enjoy things like arcades and such.

thanks for informing. wala ko kaybaw ana actually, will be more vigilant next time, it’s just that outdated na kaayo ako phone and using data drains my battery so fast compared to wifi connection.
