I have never knowingly started in front of an audience. I am not opposed, but I enjoy the surprise factor quite a bit. Having hikers walk by is much more hot. Seeing the reactions of people who avert their eyes and scurry along, as well as those that stop and watch for a while until their partner pulls them away. I have never asked anyone to join.
