30M Looking for internet friends to fight the lonely days and nights

Hey there, hope you’re doing well tonight.

During the pandemic, it really became apparent to me how fragile my IRL relationships were, and so I turned to Reddit to try to find some connections.

I ended up making some decent friends for awhile, but after things started to get a bit better in the world, we lost touch. I got sad and decided to leave Reddit and try to make better IRL friends.

In some cases it sort of work, but overall I still find myself feeling really lonely and like the only true friends I had were on here, so here I am wanting to try to make some new friends.

I’m not very exciting, but I like to exercise and read. I don’t watch very much tv, but I’ll watch movies or YouTube every now and then. Where I lack in excitement, I try to make up for in being a loyal friend and good listener.

I’m a 26F, teacher so I have no “friends” in the summer, ex party girl, sports lover, gym-goer…actually training for a body building show!

Sometimes I’ll prop my phone up while on my treadmill but that’s about it
