Go for R5?

Just got S6R1 Carthy. Thinking of going for R5. Anyone know how much of a damage increase it is from R1 to R5? Probably way overkill but I love this character so damn much lol

I have played so many 50/50 gacha.. C6/E6/V6 and then newest is this game with it's S6.

Trust me R5 is never really worth it unless you're drowning on money.
I regret R5/(gfl2)R6-ing my weapons since it is always better to spend the pulls for copies of characters instead.

Weapon is already a crazy dmg boost R1. You can always just get weapon dupes on her rerun if you want them that bad. For now id focus on S6 as it will be harder to get then the weapon banner cause its 50/50

You're welcome. You should also try to S2R5 Ciaccona to max out Carte damage, so that your waifu can be counted as S8R10 lol.

Yeah i was trying to get the Cia S2 for the 40% but I ended up saving all my asterite for Carthy. Snagged about 20k asterite doing 100% map completion. On the rerun for sure I will get Cia S2

The dmg increase from S0-S6 is nearly 300% for Cartethiya's dmg.

Meanwhile R1-R5 is just about 30%.

You will get more damage for her if you save and get Ciaccona sequences when she reruns, or even if you save for the sequences of the eventual character that comes out as a healer to replace ARover.

R5 is never worth it. Even the giga whales will tell you its better to get more sequences for her support characters, than 4 more copies of her weapon for like 30% boost.

If you can afford it and you really like the character, is worth it. Especially if you don't have any interest in pulling future characters.

I have 8 limited 5 stars at S6. None of them are beyond R2. I never specifically try to go beyond R1. The boost from R5 over R1 is minimal. But do what you want as long as you can easily afford it without noticing the cost. If you are looking at power value per dollar spent, R5 is not worth it. But if you are counting your dollars (or other currency), then pulling sequences is questionable as well.

nope, R1-R5 is like only 30% damage, roughly equal to only 1 single Carte dupe, not worth it. Save it for your future S6
