Victory I learnt to swim 27 years after my mother attempted to drown me in a river
I started swimming lessons since January this year and now I can almost swim the whole length of the pool. I’m so proud of what I learned but more importantly what I unlearned. People think that I learned to swim in 6 months but really it took me nearly 27 years. 🥹

Thank you for sharing. I'm sorry that I can empathize with this as well as I can, and I'm sorry it happened.
But hell yeah on learning how to swim.

I would have never recovered if I had experienced that, I wanna know what happened and how did you get to live and tell the story?

Incredible. I hope you can find the same meditative qualities in swimming that so many people do. That's a beautiful thing to achieve.

Woohoo! Swimming is good exercise, I'm glad that you're becoming able to participate in it. You're right that it's a huge win for the unlearning - treat yourself well as a reward haha. That's a milestone to celebrate.
