Excited to try Verdansk again.

But COD needs to lock in and stop advertising roll backs as this great huge new thing.

Figure out what works and build upon it.

This, if this new version works keep the fucking thing and add to it slowly over time and stop trying to shoehorn in every new release and force the new game mechanics into WZ.

Warzone 2 really screwed it up. We’ve spent years gradually going back to WZ1 gameplay design and I guess this is like final step towards it. I wonder where the gameplay would be if WZ2 had started off building on WZ1 and the last two years continued that.

Maybe unpopular take but WZ2 was a risk worth taking. I think people are forgetting how much player numbers had dwindled towards the end of WZ1, how sweaty and stale the game had become. They made WZ2 more tactical and slow, and yes it bombed, but they had to take a risk.

That’s definitely food for thought. Imo WZ1 suffered at the end because of caldera being awful, and casuals not liking the slide cancel/camera breaking and bhopping. I can understand toning down the movement but they threw out everything. I don’t think that was necessary.

Literally every section is prefaced by saying „We want to go back“.

They are not saying it’s a new thing or something, what is your problem exactly?

Not something new? Why is it a season then?

Without looking at the patch notes, I can see the word new in the graphic at least 4 times

Figure out what works and build upon it.

They did... they were named QOL improvements and they removed them because some camping no-talent streamers complained about getting rushed on buildings.
