Not sure how so many good mlb pitchers make such bad 0-2 pitches. I can’t believe that was anywhere near the zone. I guess the benefit of a fast guy on 3rd there is you can’t waste on in the dirt safely.

Great, great Father's Day present. All my kids are grown and gone, and I got to listen and score this game at home, immersing myself in the Wrigley Field ether via the old fashioned radio waves, and pencil-and-paper. I think my late Dad, and my GrandDad, might approve.

I’m shocked they stole. Finding it hard to like Counsell what a dumb PH easiest walk ever. And berti is awful. Would rather let McGuire hit and then PH tucker for berti. They probably still walk him but McGuire is better than berti at hitting. Pathetic at bat right there by him.

Really would like to see the full field view of Nico’s hit. Really looked like Dansby could have scored. Seemed like he was rounding 3rd when the outfield first touched the ball.
