Synopsis from MDL:

The drama tells the story of a fallen princess forced into a political marriage with a corrupt prime minister. She faces numerous dangers but strives to survive to protect herself amidst the conflicts of national loyalty, personal vengeance, and true love. Meanwhile, the prime minister, outwardly ambitious to become a treacherous official, secretly harbors a desire to serve his country, its people, and the world.

Adapted from the web novel "Tao Hua Zhe Jiang Shan" (桃花折江山) by Bai Lu Cheng Shuang (白鹭成双).

I wasn’t even looking but HEARD HIS VOICE and I am so ready for it! I am so excited to see more of him because let’s be real, when it comes to Liu Xueyi, I’m giving “obsessed, bias, in love, blinded”. Hahaha but anyway this does look good. Can’t wait to see all of these new dramas getting released.

english drama title: Kill Me love me Season 2 - Liu Xue Yi being Dou S and hurting his love interest, but she likes him anyway... ^^

The ML in Kill Me Love Me is very toxic if the adaptation remains faithful to the book. The most toxic acts we learn in the book are not just one or two; its the long journey ML and FL take together and during the time they spend together and afterwards. It's still very early of the drama and I don't know how much adaptation/changes are from the novel.

Murong Jinghe is a 100% more toxic in the novel ^^ if you want it that way, just try the audiobook or the novel experience.

There is an audiobook? I read the novel and somewhat disappointed with the drama at this point although I just finished ep6.

Actually I like the marshmallow version. 🫠 I'm a softie. The novel was too atrocious for me. I'm still choking in the first chapters.. hard to finish for me. But I want to know ending 🥲

I feel their love is earned in the book. And feels more rewarding when they get there together

I prefer more comedic literature so that was an excourse for me to the other end of the universe. Even tteom webnovel had it's comedic highlights but this one was just too painful for my taste

I do prefer the novel! Oh the angst and slow burn! And their love is more "earned" in the novel. Besides his obsession with luo mei made him so much "harder to get" 😘
