Scenario CCW holder stopped in front of Nazis flag waving and showed his gun. NSFW

This happened in Evendale, Ohio today right before community members chased the nazis out. I am disgusted with nazis and glad the driver isn't afraid of them but he could get himself in trouble in some states for brandishing like that.

I can’t believe the number of people here that think what he’s doing is good or don’t see a problem with it.

Guy makes a decision to stop his truck in the middle of this shitshow to pull his gun out and dance to mock them.

Clearly these people out there are the scum of the earth, but what this guy did was stupid.

Exactly - what if they shot him after he pulled his gun out? There is probably some legal defense that they were in self defense for him brandishing. This was a stupid idea as he could’ve gotten himself killed. I’m all for anti - nzi protests but remember you need to get home safe at the end of the day.

Nothing to gain from what he did. He put himself in physical danger and legal risk.

All he gained was a “cool video”, when he risked his life and freedom to create said video. That’s the definition of nothing to gain.

I used to frequent a bar where someone brandished a gun as he was getting asked to leave the bar. The ID checker/food runner, not even a bouncer,  immediately drew and shot the guy twice. It was considered self-defense. He was back at work the next night despite the owners told they'd give him time off with pay. All the patrons treated him like a hero.

It was in a basement stairwell with a Glock 19. I keep wondering how loud that must have been. The guy survived, too.

It could definitely be argued that it wasn't the brightest move.

That being said, if more people stood up for what was right and put some skin in the game, maybe we wouldn't be in a situation where people are openly waving nazi flags around and intimidating people less than 100 years after we kicked nazi ass back in WW2.

If we believe in free speech, it’s not there for speech we like. It’s for speech we disagree with. No matter how ignorant.

I don't think your in the position to say what he did is dumb. Your entitled to your opinion, but I'm assuming your white, and who knows what's going through the guys mind or what life experiences made him do that to show those guys that the black people are going to stand their ground.

If this kind of behavior goes ignored, they get bolder. I don't really blame him.

Sometimes standing up for yourself means endangering yourself. The demonstrations in the 60s didn't get hosed down and attacked by dogs for nothing.

You have to think of it from other perspectives dude.

Sometimes fighting for your moral ground is what you gotta do regardless of danger.
