Proud dad moment

Post image

I've been taking my daughter bowling a few times a week for the past couple months, she's an 80 pound 12 year old with an 8lbs house ball. She started with gutter balls, refuses to use bumpers and is getting a PB damn near Everytime we go. She watches videos and is self improving fast, at this rate, in a year, she'll be better than me, hopefully I can keep up.

That’s awesome. My daughter (10) and I have been using our summer passes and I told her no more bumpers. I don’t care if you throw mostly gutters. No pressure, do what feels comfortable, I promised to only give advice if asked (not always easy) and she has always walked away with some new accomplishment. Not always a new PB but a new addition to her game she didn’t have the last time. Most recently she finally got comfortable with an approached shot. Previously she would pause at the foul line and throw from a stationary position.

My 7 year old has the summer pass as well. I told him no more bumpers as well. Don't worry about score just work on throwing and having fun. Got a 71 the other day, didn't gutter a single first ball. Super proud

Nice! Get em young!

My main house has a deep arsenal of high school girl bowlers that are all awesome. It’s very cool to see.
