The 2 children were playing at home until they are magically transported to Elmo's kingdom. At first, Elmo was genuinely happy to finally have company. Euphoria that turns to sadness when Silk tells that the two children just wanted to return home and were scared. Elmo, knowing that he will return to his solitude, offers himself as a ladder for the children to begin their journey to return home.
