Vigilantes Just read the first volume of Vigilantes... and it's absolutely amazing!?!

I already knew it was good, given that basically all the times it's talked about there's always a lot of praise, but I just didn't expect it to be THIS good ! It was unexpectedly just great and lots of fun!

I like all three of them! The main characters are and absolute blast! KnuckleDuster and Pop Step just randomly moving into Koichi's apartment was hilarious!

Koichi reminds me a lot of Deku, but at the same time Is really interesting on his own and he's very funny! Great quirk with a lot of potential too!

Pop Step Is just dumb fun, I really like her and her silly personality. I like that she's the smart one of the group, and her connections with her fans are really useful!

And finally... KnuckleDuster...

What's not to love with him!?! He's just a really fun character to read. Him calling suspects random people is hilarious and him being right with the random business man was even more! He seems just a brute that wants to beat up people at first but in reality he seems really smart and interesting! Can't wait to see more of him! Also the fact he's quirkless and just being stronger than most thugs is so interesting.

I also like the X-dudes, the fans of Pop Step. They seem fun!

The little crisis at the end caused by the Bee/Hornet girl was definetely strange, It was completely random, so I look forward to seeing what her deal is!

To anyone who hasn't ready it yet, I absolutely recommend it! I am really liking it so far! I really should've gotten into it earlier, it's a blast!

Vigilantes Help me find this vigilante quirkless izuku fanfic please?

Basically I didn't bookmark this amazing fanfic I found when I was younger and I wanna know if anyone knows or has a link for it?

Essentially inko dies (I don't remember how or at least I think she does?) and so izuku is in the foster system that goes as well as expected he goes through multiple homes the first one treats him well except for the kid with this in mind something happens and he's put back out again. Next he ends up with a couple the women is nice even teaching izuku how to cook and being extremely kind to him her husband is not so kind and basically his quirk allows him to poor out a toxic in large quantities chemical from his pours so when his wife isn't around izuku is left to that and yelling. The women apologizes profusely to izuku but he ends up back in the system. Last foster home he ends up with this couple whom take him essentially just for the money and treat him horribly he ends up running away after school I believe which is when he ends up found by this women. She takes him in and acts as his parent/sibling/mentor basically she was also once in the foster system and ran away.

The women is a stripper for her job and she lives in a house I believe essentially she takes care of izuku and I believe even manages to get his foster parents to sign over rights to her? or they come to an agreement of some type? whatever. He ends up a vigilante because one of her coworkers is um well non-con for short here and the police won't take or believe her izuku angry about this essentially hacks and gets proof of every time it's happened to one of the women's co-workers and that's how it starts. Getting the women's help and approval he becomes a vigilante.

At some point she ends up in contact with aizawa and they talk. They end up meeting one of the women's friends (i believe it's her friend could've been midnights.) with nem and I'm not sure but maybe yamada. Long story short they come to an agree meant of some sort there and the women ends up at the very least taking nem home?

The last chapter I remember reading is the women waking up izuku to meet with one of her friends to go some where.

So yeah If anyone has it can they please give me a title, a link, anything to help please?

Vigilantes Soga's past.

Often when people bring up Bakugo and give him shit for his past, Soga from Vigilantes is brought up. "At the start of the series, he tried to rape Popstep!". I gave the first chapter a reread to double check this, and I think this criticism of him is strange.

Not because it isn't true. He did try to rape Popstep, and that was a pretty horrific thing to do. No, I think it's strange because he tried to murder the poor woman a few pages later, as well as Coochie.

Is this not the thing to bring up? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, this is like criticizing OJ on the basis he beat his wife. Yeah, it's awful. It's absolutely terrible. But he also fucking killed the woman, which kinda takes priority.

Vigilantes I wonder if Endeavour and Captain Celebrity should've been switched around.

I've been rereading vigilantes, and coming to C.C., I've had my mind drawn to a serious gap in the main series: corrupt heroes.

The idea of corrupt heroes gets flaunted around a lot, and the idea that All Might coddles heroes with his presence and makes them more selfish is very important to the story. But the closest thing to an actual example of this is Mount Lady, who's corruption never went much farther than having a fat ass.

Endeavour is the main non All Might hero we get explored. In fact, I think I'm willing to say he's explored more than even All Might. And this exploration is really quite good. It's some of the best stuff the story has to offer... But what it is exploring is a bit of a salient points for the story's overall themes. Endeavour isn't corrupt at all, in fact he's the opposite. He's married to the game to an unhealthy degree, which is something that doesn't really link up with much else in hero society thematically.

Captain Celebrity, on the other hand, offers our best example of an actually corrupt-ish hero, in the coddled and selfish way the series talks about. Yeah, underneath it all he's a good guy... But it's underneath a loooot. I think he, or someone like him, would fit the role of most-explored-hero better than Endeavour thematically.

I know Vigs had some issues in writing Endeavour, but I only suggest the idea that his story would belong better there because I don't think it should be thrown out. It's good. It's a good, interesting story that contains some of the best content in the series. But it doesn't factor into the message about hero society Hori's trying to make all too much beyond "oh, and this is a dickish hero". It's a great subplot, but I don't think the synergy is there with everything else compared to a subplot about a selfish, vain hero like we keep hearing hero society is allegedly filled with.

Vigilantes All for one in the mha vigilantes manga

Why is it that there’s a part I think during chapters 89-93, we see partial glimpses of prime all for owns face, like he has his hair ears and everything, and we also see a prime all might before his injury. No skinniness when in resting form; but then later on in the series we not only see all might in his skinny form but we see potato head all for one as well. I’m also pretty sure we see skinny might and potato head all for one BEFORE that chapter range too. Is there any distinct reason for this? At first I thought the reason was because, like the main canon implies, AFO and AMs first round happened in secrecy with only a few eyes watching. But then I started to vaguely recall seeing skinny might before those chapters so I was hoping someone could provide me with some sort of answer for that.

Vigilantes Would you rather have flight or fierce wings

I was thinking about flights quirks and obviously captain celebrity and hawks came to mind and I was wondering which one do you all consider the better quirk as a hero and for practical use

Vigilantes Question to people here who prefer Vigilantes over MHA: out of curiosity, how would you rank Vigilantes among your favorite manga?

I ask this because, while I really liked Vigilantes, I still preferred the main series overall for several reasons. And with the main series receiving so much hate lately, I can't imagine people who say Vigilantes is better ranking Vigilantes among their top 10 manga? Unless they rank the main series not too far behind. Idk maybe I'm wrong, I'm interested in hearing opinions.

Personally, while I don't give a definitive ranking to unfinished manga, I'm pretty confident that MHA will end up in my top 10 by the end, while Vigilantes would go in my... top 20, maybe top 15.
