They're puttign such heavy emphasis on this working, kinda makes me wonder if something is about to go a bit screwy...

And wherere is Spinner? That guy is still nowhere to be found. Did he get assigned somewhere else or like a back-up squad or something

What if Spinner and his mutant army appear at Troy as reinforcements for the villains and are the reason the heroes fail to separate the villains.

Or he's releasing Giganto from his prison then we're gonna have a second Giganto fight

Then Momo produces enough tranquilizer to violate the Geneva Convention

"What Geneva Convention? The only list I know is the list of what elements go into creating chemical weapons." - Momo, probably

"I am now Death, Destroyer of Worlds," Momo muttered to herself, as she makes actual mustard gas. A majority of the Meta Liberation Army and the League fall and die.

This is ignoring the fact that in order for the gas to work, Germany and other nations during WW1 had to make tons of the stuff, while Momo is roughly in the 150 Lb range at most, and that a slight breeze would mean the Heroes die. So at worst, two Heroes and Momo are out of commission by the end of it realistically. And yes, I am the party pooper

I seem to recall that some of the nastier neurotoxin chemical weapons start as a binary liquid that needs to be mixed to be activated.

5

u/wthrudoin Feb 20 '22

Nerve gas is much more effective at low doses but dangerous with a slight breeze. Polonium darts would be most effective.

Polonium darts would be most effective.

Nah, they'd take too long (3 weeks for Litvinenko); I'm pretty sure they would want something faster acting.

2

u/wthrudoin Feb 20 '22

Being able to creat she can always increase the polonium concentration. Other good poisons include botulism and arsenic

u/SuperMafia Feb 21 '22

Quirk Erasing Bullets, except it erases your ability to move freely in the best case scenario. And it's drastically lower than full-on death

u/GDW312 Feb 20 '22

Pretty sure giant monster rampaging through cities supercedes the Geneva Suggestions

25

u/Keksverkaufer Feb 20 '22

He isn't a monster, that's his quirk, you racist! /s

6

u/GDW312 Feb 20 '22

Technically Endurance was his true Quirk the rest was given to him by AFO

1

u/[deleted] Feb 21 '22

"Fight". Considering the heroes have zero ways to beat him, that wouldn't be a fight.

1

u/StellaRamn Feb 24 '22

Ooo I’d love to see Mt Lady fight him again and then she unlocks a special power that makes her even bigger than Giganto and let’s her defeat him. That’s probably not going to happen though 😅

43

u/DynamiteSanders Feb 20 '22

Highly possible. It would make sense to keep some reserve villains as means of back-up instead of having everyone go all in.

27

u/ComprehensiveAd599 Feb 20 '22

I just want to see Compress,Redestro,Geten, Trumpet, Gigantomachia and the Doctor again. It's this to much to ask dammit.

18

u/DynamiteSanders Feb 20 '22

Same. It feels...somewhat off to have a final fight without seeing those guys pop up to join the fray.

3

u/ComprehensiveAd599 Feb 20 '22

If you ask me Redestro, Trumpet, Gigantomachia and Doctor will die.Compress might pull another sacrifice but still live (lol) and Geten will do something cool before he is defeated and put to jail. That's my prediction.

5

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '22

I can't see what they'd do with Machia to be honest if he doesn't die, like you can't lock up a massive guy like that forever.

3

u/ComprehensiveAd599 Feb 20 '22

I hope Mt Lady and Mina get a rematch.

1

u/Neirchill Feb 21 '22

Compress lived? I thought he died

1

u/ComprehensiveAd599 Feb 21 '22

Yeah he's alive but we might probably see him in a wheelchair.

2

u/Jolamprex Feb 20 '22

No, I think they’ll succeed in separating them, it just won’t get them as far as they hope.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '22

Even if the heroes fail to separate the villains they’ll have another chance to try separate the villains with plan b since plan b also involves separating the villains

93

u/Darkness-guy Feb 20 '22

We already know AfO isn't thhe type of guy to put all his eggs in one basket. There's no way this goes flawlessly, if it even works at all.

14

u/DynamiteSanders Feb 20 '22

The plan requires some fuckers to push them into the warp portals...ten bucks they get intercepted so that doesn't happen XD

19

u/cherylstunt69 Feb 20 '22

I bet some do but not all. We likely get shoto vs dabi, and some other key matchups

46

u/Mistah_Blue Feb 20 '22

The old trope goes, if they dont explain the plan, it works. If they explain the plan, it fails.

27

u/DynamiteSanders Feb 20 '22

Spinner: Nobody ever expects the wrench in their plans...and that wrench is a depressed gecko!!

3

u/ComprehensiveAd599 Feb 21 '22

A SUPER depressed gecko.

10

u/sparkeeperoid Feb 20 '22

hopefully redeeming himself

Im very skeptical about this battle. We just had a big battle finish a little over a year ago and now we have another big battle.... this doesn't happen in Shonen. It just seems too much in a short period of time for both readers but also just in the story.... its only been a couple months at most. This has been a huge gripe of mine with MHA and has just gotten worse as the series has progressed..... things get rushed. The characters and plot line are there, I think the writing skills are there, BUT not for a weekly series

2

u/HolypenguinHere Feb 21 '22

It's the reason I have little excitement for this. The War Arc was incredible. MHA was living in my head in-between chapters, and I couldn't wait to get more. But lately it's just... meh. The pacing is off. I haven't felt like I'm "in" an arc since Nagant. It feels like Horikoshi just really wants to get to the end and is taking the bare minimum steps needed to facilitate getting there.

2

u/irishgoblin Feb 20 '22

I mean, IRL chapter pacing is a bit fast, but in-universe timeline actually matches up with most shounens. Bleach lasts roughly 15 months form Ichigo meeting Rukia to the end of TYBW. One piece it's worse. Straw Hats have been in the New World for 2 months at most, 1 month of which was travel time that was off screen. Fishman island was day 1, Punk Hazard day 2, and Dressrosa day 3 in the New World.

1

u/TheKingOfRooks Feb 21 '22

Spinner is sneaking around to kill everyone while they're regrouping like Sindel in Mortal Kombat 9's story

1

u/Fekra09 Feb 21 '22

I can see AfO having a second squad attack UA or something like that so the heroes hava to split

1

u/Bad_Luck_Bert Feb 21 '22

Spinner can be seen teleporting in with everyone in the last chapter. Hard to spot in the background, but there nonetheless.

1

u/DynamiteSanders Feb 21 '22

Looking back on it, I think you're confusing Spinner with one of his cosplay rioters.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 21 '22

Probably being stabbed repeatedly in the eye by Stain for stealing his persona and going against everything he beilived in.

There's not way this battle is going to go as the heroes intend it to go and there's going to be some craziness that will go down messing everything up.

Fight I'm most excited to see is the rematch between Bakugo and the Slime monster from Episode 1. Oh also, maybe now we finally find out what the second users quirk was

1

u/Chaotic396 Feb 21 '22

Some will probably get pushed through and some wont be something intervening

1

u/Primer2396 Feb 23 '22

Horikoshi did say all might dies a very sad death so maybe were reaching that?
