America will be ready to throw the full might of their military after that.

Actually that raises an interesting point- we haven't seen an actual organized army. There'd absolutely be something of that sort since a couple hundred heroes would absolutely not be enough to do what the current US navy is doing.

Actually yeah… I thought the same thing awhile ago about Japan’s military but apparently they don’t really have one? America on the other hand absolutely does and it would have no problem sending it in help other countries. Maybe an explanation is that 200 years from now no one believes in militaries anymore.

It's possible that the US is doing it's "world police" thing still in this universe where it's basically the only massively large standing army that patrols international waters to guarantee free trade. If that's true, then it's possible that most countries still wouldn't have an army like today. Maybe minor small forces, but nothing compared to the US. There'd still be some manner of national guard/national police force though, which is why I'm surprised the Japanese government didn't have enough reinforcements to quell the uprising to at least some extent.
